Baked Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2014
Healthy and easy. I make these all the time. Lovely! If you don't want to have to turn them, Combine al ingredients in a plastic bag, then use a (sprayed with cooking spray) rack in your pan. These are also good with rosemary and garlic or with pumpkin pie seasoning.

Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2014
I seem to be the 900th comment here. (like 899 aren't enough). This turned out great! I was out of onion powder, so I ground up some dried minced onions in my coffee/herb mill. Worked fine.

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2013
This is a really good recipe. Made it exactly according to instructions. It was good the next day at lunch AND reheated the following day with Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage. Good combination. I would suggest that you use a 10-inch skillet, no larger. Then the dish won't dry out or cook too fast.

Speedy Raspberry Dressing

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2013
I made this with strawberries, as suggested, and thought it tasted waaaaay too oily. Wound up adding more vinegar which made it too sour. Then added strawberry jam to make it more palatable. Will not make again.

Added a little Cherchie's Champagne Mustard, and a smidge of nutmeg and a little curry. Perfecto!

Cream Cheese Penguins

Adorable. Adding my 3 tips to the 500 remarks already posted. 1. Insert the tooth pick into the carrot feet, then slide the filled olives on. Sturdier. 2. Fill small olive before trying to insert beak. Less likely to break. 3. To store or transport, use disposable mini muffin pans and stand them up in there. They stay put.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

So colorful and delicious for Christmas dinner. I had some leftover. So, the next day . . . heated it in the microwave, drained it, and served it as a hot vegetable. Also delightful. Thanks for this great recipe.

Grilled Chicken with Herbs

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
It would be helpful here to list the amounts of herbs BEFORE CHOPPING, so that they could all be chopped together in the blender with the oil and vinegar. . . easier and faster. Otherwise, good recipe.

Banana Oat Muffins

Just when I thought these couldn't get any better . . . Try this. Add blueberries (dusted with flour so they won't sink to the bottom) to the batter. Then sprinkle the tops with cinnamon sugar before baking.

Whole Wheat, Oatmeal, and Banana Pancakes

Even more wonderful with BLUEBERRIES in them. Either mix the berries in or drop them on the uncooked side before flipping pancakes over. - - - Also, I freeze the leftovers (individually on a tray, then separate indivdual portions with wax paper and keep in a freezer bag). I pop them frozen in the toaster. Lovely quick breakfast.

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
This was lovely. Such rich taste. Next time will brown first side of chicken, then add onions. Added a little wine to the tomato-balsamic mix. Can't hurt ... could only help.

Bahama-Mama Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
Good, quick and easy. Only change I would make would be to briefly remove the chops from the skillet until the cornstarch cooks in the sauce. (about 2 minutes - the sauce will lose the cloudy appearance). Then, add them back and finish as usual.
