Chicken Biscuit Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2010
Very good! I used this recipe more as a guideline, as I tweaked it quite a bit for my own family's preferences (ie: I used only peas). i also added some wine to the broth and used cornstarch to thicken rather than flour. I also added some herbs de provence and tarrogon to make it a little more complex. It was a good basic recipe, though, and the drop biscuits on top were very yummy. It's a good and satisfying dish.

Chicken Liver Pate

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
This was a very good recipe, it is easy and tasty. But if there are any pate snobs out there (I'm sort of one), I would rate this as a pate spread rather than a more formal pate. The cream cheese was an interesting base, but it worked. I did not use sherry (I didn't have any), and mine turned out quite thick.

Creme Brulee III

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2003
I put this recipe in little custard cups, and it turned out wonderfully! It doesn't set up as firm as baked custards, and it's not as heavy as a lot of similiar recipes are, and I liked that very much. It also has about half the calories as many other recipes. Overall, it was easy and very tasty. This will become my favorite creme brulee recipe!

Scallops One - Two - Three

Reviewed: May 20, 2002
this was a very good recipe. I would maybe cook it a little less than 15 min next time, I'm picky about seafood being overdone. Very easy and good, though.

Scrumptious Chicken

Reviewed: May 14, 2002
This was a very good and easy recipe! I used fat free cream of chicken soup, tasted fine. I also used bread crumbs and then seasoned them myself (that's what I had in the cupboard). I'm making this one again.

a Leekie Soup

Reviewed: May 14, 2002
very good soup, my friends loved it. I didn't use quite as much leeks as called for because the leeks I found were quite big. It served 12 people with leftovers, it was a good lunch.

German Pancakes II

this is just like my aunt's recipe, except she sprinkled nutmeg on top as well. If you make it in a blender it's easier.

Dutch Babies II

This is identical to my great aunt's recipe, except she sprinkled the nutmeg on top. easily adjustable for how many people you have. It is also easier to put in a blender than to whisk by hand.

Corned Beef and Cabbage I

simple, easy way to do this traditional dish. I used brussel sprouts instead of cabbage, my husband likes them better.
