Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2009
My family loved this for a quick, easy meal. I doubled the sauce, but kept everything else the same. Thanks!

B Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
These are DELICIOUS! I was able to find both oat bran and wheat bran at my grocery (quite an amazing feat) and forgot to get buttermilk, so I just used regular skim milk. These were enjoyed by all...even my 8 and 3 year olds! Will absolutely make again!

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
This was good! I used butterflied boneless chops, omitted salt, and used broth instead of the water/bouillon combo. Will make again!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
A simple pot roast. Nothing fancy about it. I subbed low sodium beef broth for the water. Thanks!!

Mock Filets

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
I wanted to LOVE this...I really did. I read many of the reviews and went into this knowing that it was going to be "meatloaf-ish." However, it really wasn't even up to par with meatloaf. It was rather bland and, believe it or not, the bacon really didn't add that much to it. Thanks anyway!

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2009
This is good for what it is...quick and simple. It doesn't taste like you slaved over it for hours...but, you didn't! It's a keeper for a quick, "throw together" meal. Thanks!!!

Sausage Potato Medley

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
I used turkey sausage instead of pork, diced celery along with the onion, (also used Smart Balance margarine, skim milk, and fat free cheese) and kept everything else the same. This was not pretty, but it was quite good! My family asked me to make it again. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
I nixed the salt in this (there is plenty in the dressing mix) and used onion powder instead of onion salt. I also used beef stock instead of water. My family LOVED this! A definite keeper! Thanks!

Simple Lemon Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
This was absolutely wonderful! My family INHALED it! I added garlic (quite a bit) but otherwise kept the recipe the same. The lemon flavor was perfect. I can imagine that if not made with fresh lemon juice, the flavor would be strong and acrid. I strongly recommend that you DON'T use the bottled stuff on this one. I served with rice and asparagus. Definitely a meal I will repeat. Thanks!!!

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
Ok...I agree with some of the others that the glaze does NOT smell good while cooking. However, once baked onto the salmon...this is WONDERFUL!!! My family loved this dish!!! I will certainly be making it again and again. Thanks!!!!

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
This was great! I used it on ground turkey to make turkey tacos! Even my picky eaters loved it!! It was a little spicy this time, so I think next time I will have to cut back on that a bit...but there will definitely be a next time!!!! Thanks!!!

Italian Chicken Skillet

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
This was fair. It lacked a little flavor...I'm not quite sure where, exactly. Something about it was a little bland. It's definitely worth tinkering with, though. Healthy and simple. Thanks!!!

French Toast I

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2009
I used EggBeaters and skim milk and this turned out to be a really good french toast! I left out the nutmeg because we are not big fans. This is a classic, simple way to make a comforting dish! Thanks!!!

Butterscotch Oatmeal

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
Ok, I don't eat oatmeal. I can't stand the texture. I'm sure I'm missing something wonderful, but...eh...I'll get over it. However, I made this for my hubby and my mom who are both oatmeal eaters. I used 1/4 c. Eggbeaters in place of the egg, skim milk, cut the brown sugar back to 1/3 c., and the butter (which was made with yogurt) to about 2 tsp. They LOVED it!!! Their reaction almost made me want to try it...almost. Maybe next time. They have requested that I add cinnamon and raisins the next time I make it (although they were happy with it just the way it was), so there are ways you can liven it up. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

Tuna Salad With Fresh Dill

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
I made this for my mom who is on a pretty strict diet. I used a no sodium white albacore tuna. I added a little garlic to it just to jazz it up a little. She was very happy with the results. Thanks!!!

Awesome Steak Marinade

This was not a favorite here. The taste of the steak sauce completely overwhelmed the other flavors. We have other steak marinades that we like much more. Thanks for posting, though!!!

Greek Style Garlic Chicken Breast

LOVED the simplicity and taste of this chicken! I added more garlic (but I always do!) and kept everything else the same. This is going to be a repeat at our house in the near future!!! Thanks!!!

Tammy's Philly Cheese Steak Dip

Reviewed: May 2, 2009
This was actually pretty good! I didn't use the Italian dressing because it just didn't sound like a taste that I wanted in there. Instead, I used olive oil with some Montreal Steak Seasoning. The only cream cheese that I had on hand was chive and onion flavored...it turned out to be a good addition. I still felt like there was a little something missing...not sure what. I will tinker with it a little until I figure out what it is. This recipe definitely has potential!!! Thanks!!!

Steak Tip Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
This marinade was great! My family loved it! My steaks got about 4 hours in the marinade and they were perfect. I think if you left them too long, the flavor might get a little too strong. At 4 hours, it was wonderful! I actually didn't change a thing with this one!! Thanks for sharing!!!
