Scones

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2012
Just pulled these out of the oven and immediately after taking a bite had to come write a glowing review. They're fluffy, with a great texture and look just perfect. I made mine two ways with rum raisins (raisins soaked in spiced rum), and with walnut and basil. They are both absolutely delicious. I will definitely be making these again!

Green Bean Bundles

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2012
I love this recipe. Because we can't get bacon where we live I sliced long lengths of carrots and wrapped the bundles in those. They were delicious and the colors looked fantastic! Thank you for the recipe (and I can't wait to try it with all of the right ingredients)!

Real Hummus

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2011
I actually live in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar) and with the "Recipe Update" comment below that the author made this stuff is perfectly on point. I make this all the time now when I don't feel like taking the time to go out and get some!

Banana-Nut Chip Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
Literally just pulled this out of the oven and it is perfect. The only thing I changed was not adding the chocolate chips (and that's only because I didn't have any!). Great consistency, fantastic flavor and it smells so good!

Angel Food Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2011
Love this recipe. It makes fantastic Angel Food "Cup"Cakes as well traditional. I've had great luck with removing the cupcakes from the pan. When we don't have strawberries, I love pouring peach coulis on top of it (my recipe is on AllRecipes if you'd like to give it a whirl!).

Coconut Icebox Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
Baker beware! These cookies are addicting! I made the mistake and tried the dough... the only thing that got me to stop eating it was knowing how much raw egg I would be consuming! These cookies are second ONLY to dark chocolate covered macaroons.

Italian Herb Bread I

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2011
I just finished baking this recipe and it was perfect. I make half batches of everything (whole batches are wasted with just my husband and me around the house) and this cut in half perfectly! The smell is mouth-watering and the bread itself is wonderful. Try dipping it in some good olive oil, drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar and enjoy!

Cherry Tomato Corn Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2011
This salad saved my skin! I needed something to take to an impromptu bbq we were invited to attend and had hardly anything in the kitchen. I put corn, tomatoes and basil in the advanced search and got this. Everyone loved it.

Yellow Pound Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
I cut this recipe in half without any issues. The recipe is just right... the cake turns out moist and dense without being overly heavy. The second time I made it I poured half the batter into a bread pan, spooned a line of strawberry jam down the center and then put the other half of the batter on top. Strawberry filled pound cake was excellent!

Cream Puffs I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
I live at 5100 ft of altitude and these cream puffs baked up light and fluffy (which is hard to do up here!). The recipe was spot on and they make amazing little desserts. Highly, highly recommend.
