Buttermilk Pancakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
These were great pancakes! I thought the batter looked a little thick but when I cooked them the batter really spread out and the pancakes were so light and fluffy. I didn't use a blender to mix, I just mixed all the ingredients with a whisk in a bowl. And I folded in some frozen blueberries. Thanks for the great recipe!

Astoria Crab Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2009
This was delicious!! I followed the recipe exactly except for adding 2 cloves of minced garlic. It was very quick and easy and tasted like something you would get at a restaurant. I used crab but I think the recipe would be great with most seafood. My fiance inhaled it!!

Peanut Butter and Banana Smoothie

Very easy and great flavor. Tastes better cold like the other reviewers suggest. Either freeze the banana or add a few ice cubes. Yum!

Asian Lettuce Wraps

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
These were great and enjoyed by my friends - used ground chicken instead of beef and ground ginger instead of pickled and found that iceberg lettuce worked great. I finished the dish by sprinkling some shredded carrots and scallions on top. The sauce is great and I loved that they weren't too oily as lots of times lettuce wraps in restaurants are way too greasy. I put the dish together in about 15 minutes - super easy. Thanks.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
This was very easy to make and had great teriyaki flavor. I used boneless chicken breasts, covered the chicken for first 30 minutes and left uncovered for last 5 minutes. Very good and definitely line your pan with foil - it makes clean up super easy.

Chicago Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2002
I made this for a party and it turned out great. I couldn't find a bread bowl but it works great as a veggie dip too. Make sure to refrigerate to allow the flavors to blend. I refrigerated mine for about 8 hours and it was perfect.

Very flavorful and easy to make. I made up a big batch shaped them into patties and froze the ones I didn't need. Those cooked up prefectly a week later.

Dinah's Stuffed Mushrooms

I have made these for my last few parties and they are always a hit. I did cut down on the butter though by about a third and they are still decadent.

Mahogany Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2001
These wings were amazing. I made them for my Christmas party and there weren't any left by the end of the night. And I made a lot!! If you want them to be a little bit more spicy I suggest increasing the chili sauce. I cooked these on a baking sheet as opposed to a dish. I think they come out more crispy that way and I turned them once half way through cooking.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2001
This cheesecake was a hit for Thanksgiving!! I have never got so many compliments in my life on something that was very easy to make....made me feel almost guilty. I used 1/3 less fate cream cheese and didn't miss it at all...neither did anyone else.
