Pimm's Cup Cocktail

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2014
This is my summer drink! Love it with 7-up or sprite sometimes instead of the ginger ale. Add a cucumber spear (sliced lengthwise) to follow the true British way of enjoying a Pimm's. VERY refreshing!

Sangria Cocktail

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2013
Made this for a family bbq and other than the cold lemonade the kids drank, this one was THE choice for all the adults. Everyone loved it!I especially liked that it was so simple to make and tasted great. I also like that it didn't have any brandy in it like a more traditional Sangria since I am not a big fan of brandy. I used lots of cut-up oranges and peaches and raspberries and a few sliced apples too. Will be making again for future large group gatherings.

Roasted Garlic Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2013
My family loved it, especially the younger ones. I followed the recipe as written, but used 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder instead of the minced garlic because I was worried about it burning in the high heat. Will make this again since it was so easy to prepare and was a winner at the table. Thanks for sharing it!

Tzatziki Sauce I

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2012
I needed a quick sauce for my chicken souvlaki and found this. I followed the recipe exactly as printed and it turned out great! My daughter asked to add some cucumber (about 2 tbsp.'s worth that I grated and then squeezed out the excess liquid before adding to the sauce) because it's her favourite vegetable. It gave it a bit of crunch. Will make this again and again! Defintiely a keeper

Fresh Tomato Basil Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2010
This is the same sauce my Italian mother-in-law taught me years ago and it's so easy to make and so delicious! Adding about a 1/2 to 1 cup of wine(red or white - just make sure it's a wine you love to drink too!) before you simmer it for a few hours gives it some extra depth and flavour.
