Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

Fantastic recipe, by far the best gingersnap. Everyone who tried them loved them, including all the people that didn't think they liked gingersnaps. I serve them with pumpkin dip, the perfect compliment.

Sweet Potato Rolls

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
Fantastic! I used this dough for cinnamon rolls, and I'll deffinatly use it again. Then to really go over the top I took the leftovers and made french toast out of it and topped it with raisin syrup (1 c. raisins boiled in 1 1/2 c. water a touch of cinnamon and puree). My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!

Grandma's Noodles II

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2011
Wonderful flavor and texture. I used them for my homemade alfredo (just low-fat cream cheese and enough milk to create the perfect consistancy, creamed together and heated, some times I add a touch of nutmeg) and I don't think I can use dry store bought noodles for it ever again! Now thats comfort food. I did double the recipe for 4 entree size portions.

Banana Cake VI

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
I made this as a full sheet cake and it was amazing. I also added cocoa powder to a second one to make a Chocolate Banana Cake, that was amazing too. Totally different than banana bread, so moist and tender I will be making this again.

Make sure to dust off all flour/powdered sugar before baking or your icing will discolor when dry.

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
Wonderfully delicious!! I changed it just a bit to mimic a pie from my childhood, Strawberry Ruhbarb Crumb Pie. I used 10oz. each of strawberry and ruhbarb, added a bottom pie crust and made it into 6 small tarts. I can't wait to make this again, exactly the pie I remember and it looked beautiful!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2011
Already can't wait to make these again. They are soft, tender and the frosting is wonderful. I thought the dough was a bit too gooey but after it sat it was just right. I baked mine at 375, but that may just be my oven.

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
Mmmmm! Great texture, easy recipe. I added 3/4c minced dried cherries and 1/2t almond extract, so my version was more of a breakfast bread, can't wait to make french toast out of the leftovers (if there are any). I will deffinatly be making this bread again, but for savory applications I will cut the sugar in half.
