Easy, basic, common household ingredients, combine and shake/rub onto steak in a big freezer bag, then pop on the grill! Delicious!

Simple Scones

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
This recipe was very easy to follow and basic. I used blueberries and sliced an actual vanilla bean pod ($8 at my local supermarket). My scones did not come out like the traditional scone (or the ones at Starbucks) but more with a bread consistency. Still delicious! :)

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
I had never made a quiche before and it was so easy! I used 8 oz of shredded mozzarella and Parmesan, an 8 oz bag of of shredded mild cheddar, and chopped up 8 oz worth of slices of Muenster cheese. Easy to bake, and so so delicious! Make plenty and re-heat the next day. I would like to bake this recipe in muffin tins for a cute brunch party snack!

Lemon Cream Cupcakes

GREAT recipe! I dyed them green for St. Paddy's Day and added store bought vanilla frosting to the frosting recipe here to make a lemon-vanilla buttercream frosting :)

Very good! easy to make. I would've added more bacon to the cake batter itself. The frosting was very rich!

GREAT recipe! Very flavorful and very easy to make. I substituted olive oil for butter, beef consomme for beef broth and added 1 tbsp of minced garlic to the onions and mushrooms. Delicious!

Very good! I left out the potato flakes, soy saue, dill weed, rosemary, and white pepper. I used black pepper, salt, and a bit more basil instead. Very delicious and flavorful soup!

Easier Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
Good and easy to follow. I listened to previous reviews and doubled the marsala as well as substituted freshly minched garlic for garlic salt. I would add cream as well as salt! Delicious.

Delicious! I made the crust from scratch. A little too rich and buttery but overall perfect for the holidays!

All-in-One Casserole

Simple, easy, and has the added advantage of being able to combine several leftover fridge ingredients along with canned stuff you keep in the pantry on hand. Tasty with the addition of some fresh veggies!

Pretty basic and delicious. I would've added more brown sugar and perhaps a bit more cream cheese as well. Tasty though!

The Amazing Swedish Meatball

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2010
I used turkey instead of beef/pork and everything went well except they needed less time in the oven. My only real concern here is the 'sauce', it has absolutely no flavor! I needed to add one can of Campbell's Mushroom cream soup as well as one can of Campbells Chicken cream soup for flavor/texture. Otherwise, a good recipe!

Pretty good! I added 1 tbsp of lemon juice to the recipe, and then made a glaze using lemon juice and confectioner's sugar when the muffins had cooled.

Cappuccino Muffins

Pretty good! They could have been a bit more moist. I added more instant coffee, cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp of nutmeg to the recipe, and left out the topping.

Delicious! I added some sliced white mushrooms sauteed in butter/olive oil along with some beef stock to the sauce. The leftover gravy goes great with mashed potatoes !
