About this Cook
My name is Erin. I play basketball and lacrosse. My five fav things in life are my family and boyfriend, sports, chocolate, caribou, and getting sweet deals on clothes.Im only 17, but I love to cook. I havnt been one to typically follow a recipie, I usually make my own concauctions wheter they turn out or not. I love to study recipies and cook meals or desserts. I am not a great cook, and I do not intend to pursue my cooking as a career, but rather as a hobby.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook desserts, stirfrys, appetizers, and pasta. I want to advance my cooking beyond the over and stove and start to grill soon.
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of our cooking traditions are made from my mom. Wheter its making christmas cookies or griling steak on summer nights, she has always been the chef of our house. My mom is a great cook. She has inspired me to love cooking. SHe is very modest about her cooking but our whole family endulges in her delicous cuisines she makes. She makes food healthier and tastier than I ever could.
My cooking triumphs
My most proud triumph was making homeade crepes for the first time without burning them and my whole family including myself loved them.
My cooking tragedies
Well to start off using regular sugar rather than powder for homade xmas candies and meltng the butter for cookies and burning them.

Healing Cabbage Soup
This was Delicious. I made this for me and my friend when she was sick and it was a big hit! I changed it up a little bit by adding carrots, celery, fresh tomatoes( rather than canned ones) and I added seasoned chicken and (canned) green chilli peppers. It was Delicious and because of the kick, it cleared our sinuses! Thanks for the healing soup!
