Chocopeanutbanana Smoothie

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2014
I make this all the time but I always use frozen bananas. It's much better that way. Frozen bananas make a nice ice cream kind of consistency. I also use cocoa powder rather than syrup. I like the taste just as much and there less sugar. It's best if you use bananas that are getting ripe--- yellow with some dark spots on it and then as I said before freeze them!

Easy Creamed Pearl Onions

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2013
My sister made this at thanksgiving ( she used dried parsley rather than fresh bc that is what she had on hand) and it was great. I plan to make it.

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2013
I essentially followed this to a 'T'. I had only Half and half in the refrigerator so I used that rather than whipping cream.( I used slightly less dried basil, and since I had plain diced tomatoes in the pantry I added a bit of Italian seasoning to it to compensate) I loved it. I may omit the sugar next time as I am not sure it's needed. I also used an immersion blender so it was not so chunky. I will definitely make it again! It's awesome! Note: it really does not make a large amount so I agree with doubling the recipe unless of course you are cooking for 1 or 2! Thanks for this easy and great recipe!

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2012
I loved it. I followed the recipe to the "T" and it was really good. My husband liked it also. It was my first time making pasta fagioli. (I order it often at restaurants) After I had my first bowl, I decided it was a little "thick" (more like stew than soup) and since I had some extra tomato sauce on hand I added a little more tomato sauce, water, and parmesean cheese to make it "soupier". Either way its good!

Easiest Filet Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2012
I just made this for my husband and he LOVED it. (I dont eat red meat ever so I didnt taste it) He said it was restaurant quality. I reduced the balsamic vinegar a bit based on the reviews but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. I didnt have a pan that is oven proof so after searing it in the skillet, I placed it in a glass dish to bake in the oven. (i just sprayed the dish w/ a bit of pam cooking spray) To be honnest, I do not like to cook....its stressful and not enjoyable for me. But even for me it was soooo easy and my somewhat particular husband LOVED it! Thanks!!!
