I always make fried zucchini with zesta brand saltine crackers and fry in PARKAY makes all the difference and you don't need salt and pepper. Trust me. ...... Try it!

Bev's Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2014
Great recipe! Super simple and very creamy. I didn't have shredded cheese so used Kraft sliced cheese ripped in pieces. I cooked the butter and milk till butter melted, then whisked in flour salt and pepper. Stirring after every thirty seconds and adding a slice of cheese every thirty seconds as well. Came out great, although really thick (maybe the cheese I used) I will probably use less flour next time and maybe a sharp cheddar shredded. Thanks for the recipe.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2014
Very very good!! I used brown sugar instead of the white, doubled everything except only used 3/4 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup soy sauce, and a little less then half a cup vinegar. I also added 1 T honey and poured all the sauce over 3 chicken breasts cut into strips. I baked at 350 for 15 min then turned and basted and cooked an additional 15 min, basted one more time before turning on the broiler for about 5 min. Carmelized really well and tasted amazing! Served with steamed broccoli and brown rice, will be making it into the monthly rotation. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2014
These were awesome!!! I made a few changes since I didn't have all the ingredients. I used multi grain Cheerios, honey instead of the corn syrup, dark chocolate chips instead of raisins (they melt and coat the whole bars with yummy chocolate coating, I'm a bit of a chocoholic ;), creamy peanut butter, and added 2 T ground flax seed. I also found it easier to mix with my hands as they were a bit crumbly before I dug my hands in and really got to mixing. The end result was delish!! I will be making these again but I will try a dried fruit instead of the chocolate and rolled oats this time. Defiantly a keeper!!!

Albondigas

Too bland for my tastes the way written. I added a small can of spicy v8 juice, hominy, and rice. Seasoned to taste with salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Next time I will add some more spices while cooking.

Sunshine Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
LOVE!! My friends dad used to make these for us on school mornings and I thought he was the best dad ever. They are supper easy and fun for kids. I sometimes use different shaped cookie cutters and the kids love it. I also toast up the extra piece of bread for dipping in the yolk...YUM.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
Very good!! I added potatoes and green beans then used 2 cups of broth and 1 cup of milk since some reviewers said it was a bit dry and it came out perfect! It was enough to make 2 deep dish pot pies. Great recipe for winter!!!

Get a Husband Brunswick Stew

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2012
I have never had Brunswick stew so I don't have anything to compare it too. I cooked as directed except scaled it down to 6 servings. I thought it was a little too sweet with the cream corn. We ate it (my husband ate two bowls!) but I don't think I will be making it again. Really glad I scaled the recipe down or I would have had too much food!

I prepared this as is and I thought it was a little bland. So I added chili powder, oregano, and cumin and it was delicious!

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2012
Very good. I used chicken tenders cause that's what I had. I might cut down the basil just a pinch cause it's a little too much for my liking but other then that very good.

Slow Cooker Beef Tips and Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2012
Pretty good, I also used stew meat instead and my family does not like mushrooms so I used onion soup instead and garlic powder. I will make again but next time will add some seasonings as it was a little plain but that's probably because I didn't use the mushroom soup with garlic.
