Best Chicken Ever

Very yummy! I added some seasoning salt to the cornflakes and to the sour cream before putting it on the chicken. I had smaller breast pieces, so it only took about 30 minutes to cook. My son ate a ton and was asking for more. Thanks!

Absolutely Best Brownies

One of the BEST and WORST things about working from home is being able to throw brownies in the oven in less than ten minutes. These were super simple to make and very yummy. I can see adding all kinds of additions to this recipes such has toffee chips, butterscotch chips, etc. Thanks for a super simple and fast recipe that is super yummy in the tummy!

Gooey Butter Cake II

My husband says to give it 5 stars...but I do find it too sweet even though I cut the sugar amount in half. I will definitely make this again and look forward to trying it with lemon flavoring.

Baked Sweet Potatoes

Excellent dish!! I didn't have oregano by itself, so I used a spice and herb blend (a non-cajun blend). The spice blend has oregano, basil, salt, etc. Since I used the blend, I did not add more salt or black pepper. I cut the potatoes in bite size pieces, put in zip lock bag with oil and spices (1 tsp) to coat the pieces well. I only had to bake them about 45 minutes and turned them every 15 minutes. YUMMY!!!!

Easy Corn and Crab Chowder

I really enjoyed this recipe. I was looking for a recipe to use up leftovers and make some modifications to fit what I had. I used cooked shrimp instead of crab, 1 cup of water instead of wine, 2 potatoes, added garlic salt, and used leftover fried corn instead of individual bacon slices and creamed corn. I used two tablespoons of flour. We enjoyed it very much.

Crab and Swiss Quiche

Excellent recipe! My husband made himself sick eating so much of it and keeps asking me to make more. I used 3 eggs instead of 2 and added salt, pepper, parsley, and garlic salt.

Amish White Bread

AWESOME!!! I scaled the recipes from 24 servings to 12 (one loaf). I did reduce the sugar amount as recommended. I put 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar in the one loaf and followed the other instructions exactly. I did have to knead it for longer than I expected but it was worth it. The bread came out perfect! I would definitely recommend this recipe. THANKS!

No Bake Cookies I

My family and friends love this cookies. I do have problems with them setting. The last time I made them, I used a candy thermometer to make sure that I boiled them long enough. I had to boil the mixture about 2.5 minutes for the temperature to reach the soft ball stage. The cookies set perfectly.

Yummy..just remember not to use a shallow bowl when you start pouring the hot mixture over the egg whites...it went everywhere. But it was worth it, I think it would be great with pecans added to it.

Microwave Pralines
