Cold Veggie Squares

Wait till you try these!!! You're gonna love 'em. Everybody does...WINNER WINNER WINNER. Maybe, if I submit this review twice, the recipe can get a "10 star" review. I also add finely sliced and chopped celery, cucumber(blotted to absorb lots of its moisture),chives and sliced green onions. Toss the broccoli and cauliflower into a Cuisinart, and give them a couple of whirls so that they are itsy, bitsy pieces. sprinkle the veggies and cheese over the cream cheese mixture. We like Ranch Dressing Mix substituted for the salad mix. Oh, yes, a sprinkling of finely grated cheddar cheese(look in the refrigerator section where all the packaged cheese are displayed),is a nice addition. Enjoy!

Cashew Avocado Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2003
I really like the flavor of these ingredients minus the bread, blended together. For a slightly different twist, I tossed everything together with lots of lettuce, and increased the ranch dressing. Whoala!! A delicious salad.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: May 8, 2003
Easy and delicious.First, browned the meat over medium-high heat. Sauted a sliced onion in the same pan until golden. Deglazed pan and added to the slow cooker. Substituted half the water with beef broth, and continued per the recipe. Short on time so used high heat for 4 hours for a 3 1/s lb roast. My, my didn't everyone just love this recipe.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Wonderful pizza dough. Had to add more flour than called for in the recipe to make a soft dough. Was raining that day...maybe that was the reason. Will do again.

Marinara dipping sauce! What a great idea. Betcha can't eat just one. Just for fun, second time around,I tucked in thinly sliced onion rings and tomatoes between slices of bread(in addition to the cheese, of course). Everyone loved it.
