Marinated Flank Steak

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
This was AWESOME! I only had time to marinate the flank steak for about 6 hours and it was still really good. I will probably marinate overnight the next time I make this, which will be soon if my husband has anything to say about it! :)

Pico de Gallo Chicken Quesadillas

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
These were delicious! I used the one tortilla folded over method and made 3 of them. They weren't spicy, but had a great flavor. The fresh Pico de Gallo is the key to this one!!

Delicious! I used all the rub for one tenderloin and it turned out great! This is our new summer recipe for pork tenderloin!

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
This soup was delicious! I substituted 6 cups of fat-free chicken broth for the water, didn't use the salt and added a small can of diced tomatoes. I also used about 1/2 pound of the ditalini.

Simple Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2011
YUM! This was really good and really easy! I browned the patties first and then put them in the oven at 375 after pouring the sauce over them. For the sauce, I added an extra can of mushroom soup (not reduced fat) and some beef broth because we like a lot of "gravy". We had them with mashed potatoes and green beans. Will definitely be making this recipe again!

Amazing Coconut Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2011
This pie is awesome. I did make some changes as suggested by other raters - 3 eggs, 3/4 c baking mix, 2 1/4 c milk (used skim), 2 teaspoon vanilla and topped the pie with about 1 cup of coconut after I poured it in the pie pan. I didn't use a deep dish pie and it fit fine. I also covered it with foil towards the end of the baking to prevent it from browning too much.

Hot 'n' Spicy Buffalo Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
This is a great salad. For the hot sauce, I use Frank's original. I only use 1 tbsp of butter and it still tastes awesome! I add tomatoes and croutons for some extra color and crunch.

Blueberry Boy Bait

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2011
This was awesome! I did add about 1/2 cup more blueberries because we love blueberries. Also added about 1/2 tsp of cinnamon to topping. Will definitely be making this again!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
This was very good. However, I would probably leave out the salt next time. As others suggested, I added the green pepper about half way through cooking. I served with egg noodles and peas.

Deborah's Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
This recipe is awesome! I'm not much of a chicken eater and I really like this. I always make extra of the topping and then serve it over angel hair pasta. I've done this on the grill and (when too cold outside) on the stove. Always turns out great!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
This soup was awesome. I bought pre-cubed ham which made the chopping minimal. I did make a few small changes. I substituted 2 cans of fat-free, low sodium chicken broth for the water and bouillon. I also only used 4 Tbsps of butter and flour. Added a little parsley at the end of cooking and topped bowls with a little shredded cheddar cheese.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2012
This soup was really good. However, I did make a few small changes to it -- cooked 3 boneless chicken breast in the oven. Shredded the meat and added it to the pot with the onions, celery, carrots, poultry seasoning and 7 cans (15oz) low sodium chicken broth. Brought that to a boil and added the uncooked noodles. After they were cooked, added 2 Tbsp of cornstarch to 1/4 c of the broth from the pot. Mixed that up and added back to the boiling soup. Let that cook for a bit. I didn't add any salt while cooking and added parsley at the end.

Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2012
Awesome! My husband said it was the best soup I've ever made. It was really easy, too. I did precook the meatballs a little in the oven, so they would be brown. I also used about 2 cups bowtie pasta instead of the shells. Thanks for the recipe!

Beef Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2011
This soup was very good with a few changes -- used 3 cans of low sodium beef broth instead of the water and bouillon. Also added an 8 oz can of tomato sauce. Cooked on low in the crock pot for about 8 hours. Added the noodles in the last hour.

Lemon Cream Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
This was delicious!! I added a little extra chicken broth and only 1/2 cup of the heavy cream to reduce the fat a little. I also forget to put the lemon zest in and it was still good. We sprinkled a little Parmesan cheese on the top. My husband loved it so much he took if for lunch the next day.

Grandma's Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2012
Thanks for a great recipe. My family loves this soup. I normally add just 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of sugar. We also prefer medium egg noodles. It's so easy and sooooo much better than canned soup.

Cashew Chicken with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2012
Very good. Added 2 Tbsp Hoisin sauce and forgot the hot pepper sauce. Will definitely add the hot sauce next time because it could have used a little heat. Also used fresh ginger, scallions, julienned carrots, green beans and little corns instead of the onion, green pepper and water chestnuts.
