Big Smokey Burgers

I just really can't say anything bad about this recipe. These burgers were fantastic. put an extra raw batch in the freezer so they can be on hand next time we have people over.

7-Up® Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars, is because I would have preferred a taller biscuit and to be able to shape them. You can't really shape drop biscuits. The texture was soupy and way different from the usual 7-up biscuit recipe I follow where I have to actually cut the biscuits. Just based of the consistency of the batter, i thought the recipe was going to be a disaster. But I added another cup of flour to the batter and a quarter cup of melted butter to the bottom of the cookie sheet and these biscuits turned out GREAT!

Apple Pie Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
Made it twice. The dough never formed into a ball the first time, thus producing a thing that was super hard on the outside and undercooked inside. The second time I put the whole can of filling in a blender before Iadded it to the mix. Also added way more flour and the bread rose perfectly. Only, it was pretty bland. Tried to doctor it up by toasting slices of it and spreading butter, cinnamon, and applesauce on those slices for breakfast. Still didn't bring out the apple flavor in the bread. Won't make this a third time.

Pizza Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
I didn't care for them, but my extremely picky 3 year old ate them like there was no tomorrow. They didn't have a muffin like consistency to me.

Ranch Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
Added minced garlic, traded the crackers for bread crumbs and omitted the egg altogether. With those changes, these were pretty good. Put red onion, tomato, provolone cheese, and bbq sauce on our burgers and it only added to the ranch flavor. Froze these raw ranch patties so we could have them in a flash on the next burger night!

Tasty Tuna Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
Had an okay flavor, but the consistency was way to moist. I'll do something else with the "burger" meat I prepared. But it sure won't be this.

Burger or Hot Dog Buns

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2013
Followed the recipe as is and my buns turned out like biscuits. I'll try it again in the bread machine to see if it yields better results.

Yogurt Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2013
Loved it! Used greek yogurt and omited the parsley and it was still great! We like our chicken a little drier (and out bread crust a little browner) than this recipe allows, so I baked it at 400 for the last 10 minutes. Definatly a family fave!

Cowboy Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
These are the best cookies I have ever had or made in my life. Hands down. especially because you can add just about anything to the mix and make fantastic creations. We've done milk chocolate, dark chocolate, butterscotch, cinnamon chips and no chips at all. We've done butterscotch mixed with each of those others seperatley. We've omited the chips and mixed in apples apples and raisins. I've sent the dry mix out as gifts in mason jars too. After making it about 50 times, I learned to just keep a couple batches in the freezer. These cookies are THAT good.
