We LOVE this. It's become a staple breakfast in our house, and I frequently make it for breakfast potlucks as well. It's always a huge hit!

Great for breakfast when you're in a pinch! Not overly flavorful, but a lot better than nothing :)

We leave out the salad dressing, dice the chicken and mix it all up with white rice. Delicious!

Potato Salad with Chives

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2013
This is my all time favorite potato salad recipe. Mainly because I hate potato salad and this is more like baked potato in a bowl. :) I add bacon and cheddar cheese and also dice my potatoes. Delicious!

Pumpkin Smoothie

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2013
I am a lover of all things pumpkin - but I did not care for this recipe. It was almost like eating raw pumpkin - straight from the melon. I tried many of the alterations mentioned in the reviews, nothing helped. I eventually added eggs and flour and turned it into pumpkin bars.

This is one of my all time favorite stew recipes. I triple it to feed my family of 6 and there is never any leftovers. I make it as written and it's very scrumptious!

Italian Style Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2012
This is FABULOUS! I made it once as no bean chili and once I served it over spaghetti noodles. Both times it was devoured by my family. I do add a little extra chili powder (and even some pureed yellow peppers when I have them), and I leave out the mushrooms as well. Easy to make and delicious. :)

These were the best pancakes ever!!! I did add a tsp of cinnamon, but that was it. It fed myself and my four small children perfectly. SOOOOO GOOD!!! Yum.

Cranberry Applesauce Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2011
Yum! I had an extra can of cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving that I wanted to use up, so I substituted it into this recipe. I used it in place of the applesauce, cranberries, and pecans, and these muffins were a hit! That was the only change that I made and my kids ate the entire batch in no time (my poor husband didn't even get one). I will defiantly be making these again!

Hamburgers and Ketchup Gravy

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
My family loves this! I made it one night when I wanted meatloaf but was short on time. This is fantastic, we now have it on a weekly basis, and I get cheers each time! The only thing that I changed was using crispy onions instead of bread crumbs and replacing the other onions with bacon. Oh, and I replaced the steak seasoning with a bullion cube just because I never have steak seasoning on hand.

Honeybee Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
I made these for the kids while they were out playing in the snow and had to control myself, because I almost ate them all before they came in! They have a very strong honey taste (hints the name). I was very careful not to over mix them after reading some of the other reviews and they turned out GREAT. The only thing I changed was that I added half a bag of chocolate chips as we are a chocolate eating family.

Strawberry Shortcake Toss

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
This is so simple, and yet so delicious! I mix my strawberries with about a tablespoon of sugar and let them sit while the bread is baking, and I don't add the cool whip until it has cooled.

BEST CHICKEN EVER!!! My family totally drooled over this! My husband did suggest we use butter instead of oil next time, but it was sooo good!

Richest Ever Chocolate Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2011
This was fabulous! I did have to make a few modifications. I don't ever buy butter milk so I substituted regular milk with about 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Another reviewer mentioned she didn't separate the eggs, so I didn't either. I put them all in when it said to add the yokes. Then I don't have a tube pan so I cooked it in a regular 13x9 baking dish. It was done in 50 minutes and was very springy! On the first bite it didn't seem as sweet as I was expecting, but it left a very sweet aftertaste. Overall, this will be our cake of choice from now on! Super simple and turned out great! (I do think it would be easy to over bake this. It went from extremely runny inside to completely done in less than ten minutes.)

World's Best Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
This turned out a gooey, bland mess. I made it EXACTLY like it says. It might be that I live in the mountains, and count it that this just doesn't work for high altitude... but I don't know how that would effect the blandness... I cooked it for 2 hours until it started to burn and it was still not set up...

Ham and Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
This turned out fabulous! I used regular macaroni noodles and marble cheddar cheese. I also left out the onions but topped it with french fried onions instead of bread crumbs. Delicious!
