This is a great recipe - easy to make and very tasty, but I followed another reviewer's suggestions and used the mint rather than peppermint extract. The latter I've used in baking quite a bit and it does have a much different flavor than the mint. The mint extract was far superior. We also used regular whipping cream rather than heavy and the canned milk was fat free. We not only tried this with mini chips but also shaved a chocolate bar, which came out very nicely rather than cold small chunks. Lastly, we did not put it in the baking pan but made it in our homemade ice cream maker and it came out fantastic! A huge hit with family and friends while camping!!!
