Classic Red Velvet Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
If I could rate this cake higher the 5 stars I would rate it OMG! It had excellent flavor and the icicng is amazing. I did however ad pink icing coloring and added hearts for valentines day. My husband and daughter who aren't big fans of cakes loved it, my husband even asked me to make sure I saved him a piece. I made the 3 layers, but because I made it for a party I only did the 2 layers and iced the 3rd for my kids and husband. I was thinking what I was going to do with all this butter milk, but now turns out my kids don't want boxed cup cakes for their classes for valentines day! So I have to make 2 more batches of it and probably one for my friends to try! Thank you so much for a beautiful cake! LOVE IT!! MUAHXXX I added a picture of my creation to the photo section, next time it will be a 3 layered cake. Well I mean after the cupcakes!

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
They weren't sweet enough and I dont think they had enough chocolate chips. Alot of the times I was eating a cakey cookie with not much of anything in it. I turned the oven to 325 aswell and flatened them to paper thin to try and get the chips noticed. I will probably experiment with them again. But I dont think the are the best I've EVER eaten. There are others on this site that I thought were better! Sorry, and thanks!

Chicken and Bow Tie Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
I used to make this like 10 years ago and forgot about it and then couldnt remember what went in it. I made it a bit different though. I season the chicken and broiled it. I added green peppers as well as the green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. I sauteed the veggies minus the brocolli. Then I blended the chicken broth and cream cheese in the bullet to make it smooth. then I added alittle broth to the sauteed veg and added the brocolli to get them tender and then added the cheese mixture and then noodles. Was(is) very yummy!! Thanks for reminding me how to make it!!

I dont like liquere so this was perfect because I couldnt taste nothing but the coconut and pineapple!! The only problem was that it went down so nicely it was gone so fast and I had to make another one!! Thanks!!

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
My friends grandmother used to make this when I was little, but the only thing that was different was the mandarine oranges. She never used them, but they were/are really great in it. I think the only thing wrong with this is that it taste like another bowl. I can't stop eating it myself!! Good thing I have friends to help me eat it!! Yummmm

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
I used low fat peanut butter and sugar called half sugar, and used 5 egg whites and they turned out so yummy!! I love the way the feel like a cookie in your mouth then when you swallow it, it feels like you just ate a spoonful of peanut butter and is nice and smooth in your throat. So good!! My diet isn't going to go down the tubes with this cookie, well besides the fact that I can't stop eating them. Had to give some away!!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2010
I made it for when my husband got home and he ate it while I was outside and he text me to tell me they were delicious!! I however made them with ground turkey and I also used turkey sausages which i cook on the bbq and chopped into little pieces. I also chopped red peppers and mushrooms. Then I used one can of garlic and herb tomatos and one small can of spicey tomatos and then I used one can of tomato soup and one can of cheese soup and mixed them together for the sauce. With all the moisture from the tomatoes they weren't dry at all in the middle. Very Very Very good. I want to make them again very soon!! One of my favorite meals so far!
