About this Cook
whats up ppl my name is amber and i am 12 years old and when i grow up i want to go to le cordon bleu culinary college in scottsdale Arizona. I hope to own a cupcakery and be very well known. I have always loved to cook and recently i've loved it even more. I have looked online for cooking colleges already and im only 12 but i already told you i want to go to le cordon bleu so in high school i will go to as many culinary art competitions i have to to go to an amazing school like LCB
My favorite things to cook
i love to make cupcakes, cake, fried rice, and any type of chicken whether grilled, baked or pan fried. I love baking just about anything and love to make my whole family a whole meal (main dish, side dish, and dessert)
My favorite family cooking traditions
for Christmas my family and i always make bunches and bunches of cookies... so much fun! Also every year my mom and i make green bean casserole for thanksgiving and for Easter we make an amazing crock pot potato cheese brunch thing... mmmm
My cooking triumphs
the very first time i ever made fried rice everybody loved it... first timers luck i guess.woohoo
My cooking tragedies
one morning i was in a hurry and was hungry so i made scrambled eggs. i was reaching over the stove to get the salt and burned my hand now i have a scar :( but i still make great food and never give up even if i fail like riding a bike keep getting back up and try try try again until you reach your goal;)

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler
One word... AMAZING! I'm not a huge peach fan so instead we used this recipe but used 4 apples instead of 8 peaches and it was delicious! The cakey topping with cinnamon and sugar mixture was so good! If you are planning on making a peach/apple cobbler, use this recipe! Some people said it was a little hard to tell if the top was golden because of the cinnamon, but don't worry you'll know! Do not risk the delicious cinnamon flavor! :P
