So simple and easy yet soooooo tasty! I would rate this a 10 if I could! The gravy, oh the gravy...I could drink it up it's soooooo good. Perfect for an easy, yet sophisticated dinner party. Absolutely a keeper!

Pesto Chicken Florentine

This was okay, needed something, a little boring. I think maybe some more veggies might jazz it up a bit.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

This was good. Walked away from it thinking...wow that was TOO easy! It's a great dinner for when you just don't feel like cooking but don't want to eat out.

Almond Lemon Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
This was excellent! Great flavor, and a really nice balance of tangy lemon to the dijon mustard. Did have to add another tsp of cornstarch to thicken it more, but I think that was just my preference.

Peanut Butter Balls II

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
These are EXCELLENT! And sooo easy too. Changed mine up a little though. Thought it would be nicer to have the graham cracker crumbs on the outside of the ball instead of blended into the peanut butter, so I threw the peanut butter mixture into the freezer for an hour to prevent a gooey mess, then rolled the balls in a dish of graham cracker/melted butter mixture. Dipped these bad boys in chocolate, let them dry for a couple hours on a rack then threw in the fridge to finish hardening. Then I sifted some cocoas over the top for a pretty truffle like finish. By the way, these needed 2 bags of choc chips, not 1 like the recipe calls for. Oh, and I added veg oil to the choc, not shortening because it's what I had on hand. Overall, these came out great, about to make a second batch for Christmas gifts for the neighbors!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
These were good. Listened to the other readers and added the extra 1/2 cup of flour and the full tsp of baking soda. Then threw them in the freezer for almost an hour before baking. Got nice little round puffballs of goodness!

Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
These were EXCELLENT! Followed the recipe completely, except for an addition of 2 tsp of instant espresso to the dough to enhance the chocolate flavor. Baked these for 11 min, and they came out perfectly soft and chewy. Tastes just like a little chocolate brownie from heaven! Mmmmm, think I'll have another right now!

Pumpkin Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
Delicious and unique version of brownies for fall! I went a little overboard on the spices and am kind of sad I did because it took away from the simplicity of the chocolate and the pumpkin. Definitely a keeper!

Emily's Famous Marshmallows

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
Great recipe, an easy to follow way to make home-made marshmallows but I think there was a little too much vanilla involved. Slightly overbearing. Otherwise, a keeper.

Pumpkin Drop Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2010
These are delicious. They keep their form, and because of the amt of flour, they are very cake like. Almost like pumpkin muffin tops. Added walnuts and a tad bit of ginger to mine. Made roughly 80 something, but I made mine a little bigger than the recipe called for. The frosting tastes just like cinnamon roll frosting and totally makes this cookie unbelievable! Definitely a keeper!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2010
This was an excellent basic muffin recipe. The topping makes a great crispy crust. Substituted 1/3 cup of the flour with whole wheat flour, still turned out light and fluffy. Great job!
