Vegetable Filo Pie

Boring! Just bland and boring. I upped the egg to 2 and dumped a ton of feta in there along with heavy dosages of dill and onion powder....still bland.

Beer Cheese Pretzel Dip

Delicious! Big hit at poker night! Serve with honey wheat pretzels. I did heat up the dip before serving. And I used a stout beer...but only a few splashes.

Mound Bars

Oh my stars, these are unbelievable! My husband and I polished off the entire 13x9 dish within 4 days! It is sooooo easy to make and keeps well - so I plan on making this a day ahead for an upcoming bbq.

Coconut Tofu Keema

Delicious. I prepared as written, with the following exceptions: 1 Tbs red pepper flakes (because I didn't have paste) and one 14oz can each - tomato sauce & diced tomatoes (following other reviewer's advice). My husband thought it was a bit heavy on the cumin so I will try decreasing the cumin and increasing the curry next time. And maybe a bit more salt.

Excellent recipe. It hits all the marks for me: delicious, easy, fast, and uses common ingredients. I've made it with both vegetable and chicken broth and it's good either way. This is a staple in our house.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Fantastic. Easily customizable for your tastes. I used 8 eggs and added chopped green pepper and sliced mushrooms - husband RAVED. Had it for dinner and then reheated the next morning for breakfast! Delicious and so creamy.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Fantastic recipe with a couple tweaks as suggested by other reviewers: Cut oil in half and add 1/2 cup applesauce. Cut white sugar down to 1 cup and add 1 cup brown sugar. I made this as muffins and they are fantastic! I popped a bunch in the freezer so our family will be enjoying for quite a while.
