Single Crust Peach Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
yum yum. my bottom crust was a little hard (but tasted like peach pie candy). i used a bag of frozen peaches instead of fresh. i rinsed and allowed them to thaw. did not think it would come so great but what a suprise. it also deserves points for simplicity.

Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
3 stars. i give it a 3 because my picky eater at most of it. it didnt taste all the great to me but it could be the substitutes i used. i didnt have dry mustard so i used regular and left over chicken. it is a good way to use the left over meat.

Grandma's Corn Bread Dressing

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
You have to make the cornbread bread using cornmeal and not jiffy mix. it makes a difference. otherwise this stuffing was good and went well with cornish hens.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2010
I made a few changes. i used red onion and added fresh garlic. added extra carrots and chicken. i used bullion cube for boiling and used that liquid later. i wanted something to freeze for later, so i purchased small round aluminum pans and made individual pies. i placed them in the freezer before baking. when i was ready for a pot pie i took one out of the freezer and baked it at 400 F for about 1 hour (until crust browned and liquid was bubbling). it was delicious. my 1 yr old loved it and couldnt eat it fast enough.
