About this Cook
I've been baking since my economics class in high school where we made these delicious cinnamon pinwheels. Wish I still had the recipe.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with a dough. I'm still looking for the perfect pizza crust recipe. I stopped looking for the perfect meatball recipe because I think I've tried them all and I just gave up!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cranberry nut bread. Cranberry Pear relish.
My cooking triumphs
Big, soft pretzels. Pumpkin pie from a yellow pumpkin I bought.
My cooking tragedies
As a new housewife decades ago, I forgot to pierce baking potatoes when I put them in the oven. They exploded and made a mess in my oven!!

Fried Curry Chicken
I had a 32 oz container of yogurt that I needed to use before it went bad and a defrosted cornish game hen in the fridge. Your recipe sounded interesting so I whipped up the yogurt sauce and steeped the chicken overnight. It turned out so tender and moist! I devoured the thigh and normally I don't like that part of a chicken. Instead of frying, I baked it in a lightly oiled corningware dish (haha! corning and cornish - what a coincidence) and the last 5 minutes broiled it to get a nicely browned crust. It looked good and tasted good!
