I added fresh spinach to the cheese mix- kept the rest the same. Terrific!

Peanut Butter Pie I

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
Exactly the peanut butter pie I was looking for! I chose to use a large, premade graham cracker crust- I was in a hurry. Will definitely try the chocolate crust next time!

Oven Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
I was so surprised at how tender the ribs were! I followed others' advice and seasoned ribs before browning, and then added my own BBQ sauce in the last 30 minutes. A keeper!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2008
Tried it two ways- with the cheese and without. Both are a hit! I've made it 4 times in the past two weeks and it has disappeared every time! I did follow others' advice and only added a bit of olive oil. A keeper!

Asian Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2004
Absolutely excellent! The dressing was amazing (I followed others' suggestions and doubled it) and I used the chow mein noodles instead as well. This will definitely become a regular on my table!

Cod au Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2003
This recipe looked and smelled great, but my husband and I were less than thrilled with the taste. It seemed a bit bland. Maybe some extra spices would help.

Slow Cooker Green Beans, Ham and Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2002
Wonderful flavor! I added a few more potatoes than was called for. As I do not have a medium setting, I had to switch to low and cook longer. I actually left my cooker on for 8 hours and it was delicious, however the beans were not crispy. My family loved this!!

Crab Bisque

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2002
Very easy! I used cream of chicken since I did not have cream of mushroom on hand. I think next time, I will only add 1/2 a can of tomato soup- the whole can was a bit overwhelming. Definitely a hit in our house!

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2002
Defintely too salty, and I used only 1 tsp of seasoning salt. To lower the fat, I just used a vegetable oil spray in the pan and the chops were very tender! Next time I would use 2 large onions and 1 tsp regular salt.

No Drip Ice Pops

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2002
I used strawberry yogurt and gelatin. My son loved them and my husband thought they tasted like a sorbet. Definitely easy and mess-free.

Quick and Easy Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2002
I also added a potato and used low fat soups and fat-free half and half. I eliminated the whipping cream altogether, as I like a thicker soup. It was delicious and very easy!

Green Beans with Bread Crumbs

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2002
Although I liked the crunchiness of these beans, they were not a hit at my Easter dinner table. Everyone liked them OK, but not enough to make again.
