Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2012
I am really picky when it comes to pancakes. They have to be light and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. IHOP use to be the only place i would eat pancakes now HOME is the only place. Use a good syrup though, high quality cakes deserve a great topping.!!!!!!!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2012
This is the second time i have made this yummy lasagne. It is great the way it is but personal tastes i double the garlic and use centos whole tomatoes ran through the food processor & Cook the sauce for hours , 3 or more. Not a fan of soaking the noodles or not cooking as others have said. That is great if you are not going to reheat. cook your noodles aldente and reheating wont make a sitcky nasty noodle. When they absorb sauce from not cooking they burn when reheating just follow the recipe and you will be fine. Freezes great cut in portions freeze on a sheet tray then bag in freezer bag. i now double the sauce recipe and freeze in 1 quart bags.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Candy Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
Fan-Freaking-tastic i only used about three quarters of a pound of chocolate bars ( the ones made in Hershey P.A.) And the choosey mothers peanut butter and wow what a treat ! I have not had true Tandy Cakes in 20 years and they tasted ALMOST exactly as i remember. Watch cake cooking time my oven was faster. Cut while chocolate is still melty and use parchement. EXCELLENT!!!

Neat Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
Family of 3 here and the votes are in : Wife says very good, The boy says all sloppy joes are the same, and my vote is it isn't worth the trouble for the taste or cost for that matter. By the time you buy all the veggies that it should have the can is much cheaper. For those of you who say but at least i know what is in it, using canned soup and bottled ketchup doesn't exactly qualify For wholesome ingredients. Yes this was ok but not great (not 5 star). By the time you add everything needed to make it at least as good as the popular can joe sauce you might as well buy the can. If your kids complain about veggies in stuff, cook them down till translucent and mash or food processor them.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
The sauce in this recipe is EXCELLENT. Try it add your own additions. You will never buy a can sauce again. Don't be afraid of the whole tomatoes they will mash or blend easily. I will be freezing this in 1 quart containers from now on.
