Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2008
So authentic! I used the "Easy Biscuit Mixture" on Allrecipes. I added the garlic & onion powder, salt and parsley to both the mix and then again to the butter, and they turned out great.

Southern Living magazine's Brunswick Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
This is a lot like Brunswick stew I get in Georgia at BBQ restaurants. The only thing missing is pulled pork. I added about 1/4 cup of rib sauce, and a couple of tablespoons of "liquid smoke" to give it that just out of the pit taste. Fabulous!

Pumpkin Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
I used leftover turkey from Thanksgiving, added both broth, and tomato sauce to thin this thick chili; added more chili powder, some cumin, cayenne and garlic powder before it was the spiciness and consistence I wanted.

Restaurant-Style Tequila Lime Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2003
This is my favorite chicken recipe. Takes a bit of prep work, but well worth the accolades you'll get from those who taste it! I have adjusted the sauce somewhat to suit my tastes: more cumin, tomato and hot sauce. I've even used ultra low fat mayo, and it still turns out great!

Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2003
Great flavor! I didn't even make the sauce, just used the marinade, and let the flavors meld overnight. My family loved it!

Santa Fe Rice Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2003
Very tasty! I would add another tablespoon of jalepenos to give it more of a kick. My husband expressed doubts when I showed him this recipe, but he had 4 helpings!

Key Lime Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2001
I found the dough to be too soft to shape by hand, so I dropped them onto a cookie sheet instead. I also iced them with a mixture of confectioners sugar, key lime juice and just a drop of yellow food coloring. They are a lovely sweet-tart flavor, and I will surely make them again.
