About this Cook
I'm a newlywed. One of my greatest joys is cooking for my husband and my children. My favorite ingrediant to add to any recipe is TLC ;)
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE casseroles. It's great to find a recipe that I can just throw together when convenient and pop it in the oven for dinner.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The only cooking "tradition" is my mom asking me what I want her to cook when I come to visit. I usually ask for Roast Beef. Some times I'll mix it up and ask for beef tips and rice. And ofcourse my mom KNOWS what I'll want for breakfast...breakfast tacos (Yuuummm).
My cooking triumphs
It's always a triumph when my hubby says "mmmmm" after each bite he takes.
My cooking tragedies
I have a "talent" for messing up simple recipes...mashed potatoes are my nemesis!!

Hearty Ham Casserole
Excellent recipe!! My picky 3 year old said "Mommy what's this called??" And then he asked that I make it for him again :D What more can a mother ask for!! Thank you so much for the delicious recipe, I didn't alter it a bit and I will most definitely make it again.

Southern Baked Yellow Squash
We LOVED this. The egg and bread crumb mixture really makes this dish stand out. I added shredded mexican blend cheese on top with the bread crumbs. I covered the dish with foil and cooked 25 minutes at 400 degrees, then uncovered it for about 7 minutes. My picky boyfriend told me I can make this whenever I want. Thanks so much!!
