Pecan Pie V
I'm giving this a 4 star based solely on taste (which is really the most important thing!). I received nothing but good reviews from my family when I made this yesterday. However, it does not look anything like your typical pecan pie. I even arranged halved pecans on top in a cute little arrangement, but during cooking they all sank down into the pie which left the top with just a plain looking brown crust. One piece of advice that I followed from other reviewers is that if you have a deep dish pie crust, the filling will not fill the crust adequately. I doubled the recipe but was left with a bit of filling left over. Next time I wouldn't quite double it, but it definitely needs more than what is listed if you have a deep dish. I also lowered the bake temp and increased time. Would definitely make again.

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes
I found this recipe on here about 4 years ago and this has become a regular on our dinner menu! My husband absolutely loves it and requests it on a regular basis. He tells me that you can't go wrong with a dish that is basically meat and potatoes! lol! The only thing I do differently is I use beef sausage and remove the skin, as well as omit oil as the sausage adds it's own oil. I also mix it up with using a variety of different colored peppers each time I make it and add onions and a tablespoon of minced garlic. You can also season it to taste- I sometimes add a little cajun seasoning which is my hubby's fave! I did give it 4 stars however, because the potatoes seem to cook a little too quickly on the outside which sometimes leave them a little too crispy... Overall a great, simple,tasty recipe!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
We absolutely loved this! It was so yummy and super easy. I used thawed chicken breast instead of frozen and after 7 hours I took it out and shredded it and cooked for another hour. It was done, but we weren't ready to eat yet. I made a bit of a mistake by adding more sauce than the recipe called for because I didn't think it would be enough. It ended up making it a bit runny by it was my own fault. I still ate it on a bun, my husband ate it over rice. Will definitely make again, but I'll follow the directions next time!
