Made these once as directed, but they were too chocolately for me. Made a second time with an equivalent amount of Nutter Butter cookies (about 26 for the filling if anyone's wondering), dipped in melted semi-sweet baking chips, and then rolled in either butterfinger crumbs, skor pieces, or white fudge pretzel pieces. I would recommend using the Baker's chocolate as directed, as I found that the melted chocolate chips were too thick for dipping (kind of had to plunge in and then scrape off excess). I also highly recommend those three toppings, as they are delicious, easy, and look great too. However, this recipe is too dense/rich for my taste. It's kind of funny to watch people's faces when they take too big of a bite out of these. They are better when they're cold though, and I think they're also better after a day or two in the fridge. Definitely have a beverage at the ready when eating these! Oh, and the short ingredient list is still a plus.
