Good recipe! Extremely light and fluffy waffles thanks to the baking soda. Also separated the egg whites, whipped them till fluffy and folded them in at the end. I took other suggestions and doubled the amount of vanilla and sugar. For my personal tastes this made the waffles a bit too sweet, that I'll leave to my syrup and other toppings. Next time I will stick to the recipe as published and will probably enjoy them even more!!! I did however used 1/4 veg. oil and 1/4 applesauce instead of the 1/2 C oil along with a healthy tot of cinnamon which was very tasty!
