Heavenly Hot Dog Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
Loved this! I decided to make this at the last minute and the only burger I had were frozen patties. Thawed and cooked them in the water, then tossed the rather chunky burger into my food processor, great texture. Anyway I added Cumin after reading another reviewers suggestion and this stuff is fantastic! It's a keeper, I won't be trying any other hot dog sauce recipes.

Ice Cream Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2007
I had some peach ice cream on hand so thought I'd give this recipe a try. The scones looked great but were very bitter. I was out of self rising flour so added salt and baking soda (didn't realize until later I hadn't used powder. I goofed this one up, so I'll give it another shot and follow directions next time :)

Whole Wheat Beer Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2006
I'm echoing the sentiments of several other posts. This is the best beer bread recipe ever! I found the suggested brand of baking powder (Super Wal-Mart) and added the 1/2 cup of brown sugar as suggested. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and nicely sweek, awesome! Oh, I used Stella Artois a Belgian beer.

Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2005
These were really good! I did use half the filling as suggested in other reviews but otherwise made the recipe exactly. I lined the baking pan with foil then a layer of parchment paper. Husband loved them. This is a keeper.

World's Best Potato Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2005
The soup was good but not as thick or as creamy as I had hoped. The ingredient list called for 8 potatoes -- how big and what kind? Instructions said--enough water to cover, again that may not be specific enough and so my soup was watery.

Oven Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2005
This is a family favorite. We've did make a change though. We use a can of tomato soup in place of the french onion soup and I add onion powder to equal an onion. My kids won't eat anyhing that they can find even the tiniest piece of onion.

Jiffy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2005
This recipe is a keeper for my family. The first time I made this recipe, I followed it to the T. They were wonderful and looked so perfect. The second time I increased the filling amount left out the currants and added chopped pecans. I also did not put the teaspoon of filling in the bottom of the pan. Don't see the need. I played around with the glaze because the first time it was too thin. I also tried this dough as biscuits and we were very pleased. I rolled out the dough and cut out the biscuits with a glass and baked. I brushed the tops with butter after baking and they were yummy.

Libby's® White Chip Pumpkin Spice Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2004
Really good, super moist. Next time I think I'll add cloves for a little more spice. My only fault is with the glaze. I made it in the microwave and it coole to a very hard shell on top of the cake. When you cut the cake the glaze cracks and falls off. I will try again and make it on the stove without stirring.
