Fist time making potato salad and this was easy to make and quite tasty. I did add more salt than the recipe stated.

Homemade Tomato Sauce II

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
I really like this recipe. I also used olive oil in place of vegetable oil. It is definitely better than the recipe I had been using.

Ground Beef Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
This is a good starter and definitely needs jazzing up. Took recommendations from other reviews and added onion, mushrooms and carrots. Also added chili powder and some beef broth instead of milk.

Sweet Potato Fluff

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
I made this and it was OK. I didn't think it was fabulous like most reviews. There is way too much topping mix in the recipe. I had some left over and made it again. Cut out the white sugar and used 1/2 the topping mix in the sweet potato mix. Cut the coconut in 1/2. Topped with a much thinner topping mix. Came out better with a bit more "fluff".

Loved this soup! Very tasty with the peanut butter, ginger and cilantro. I dropped the tomatoes. Looking forward to making this again!

Sausage Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2008
These are SO addictive! I've made them twice and everyone loves them. I used spicy sausage and sharp cheddar. Gives it a good kick. Will definitely make them again! Definitely need to cook the sausage first.

Sweet Potato Pound Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2005
Made this for my family over Thanksgiving. Everyone loved it. will definitely make it again. I do recommend NOT cooking for 1 hr. 20 minutes. My cake was done in about an hour. I will also change the orange glaze to a lemon for a tangier flavor.

Sweet Potato Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2005
I have made this recipe several times and everyone I know loves it even a good friend who does not like sweet potatoes! The crust does pose a challenge so the past couple of times I used a pre-made graham cracker crust which yields three pies. I also added a little bit of lemon juice (not too much). I highly recommend this recipe.

Chicken Pot Pie VIII

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2003
This was my first try at making pot pie and I thought this was an excellent dish. I highly recommend it. I used fat free and sodium reduced chicken broth when I made it.
