Quick Chicken Piccata

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
Omg if I could give this recipe 10 stars I would! Made it exactly as recipe says. Maybe next time I'd do a little less lemon juice and a little more wine. Or maybe not! It was the best chicken the husband and I have had in a while! Yum yum yum!

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
OH MY Goodness this is the best soup I have ever made! Husband loved it! All of the ingredients complimented each other in the best ways! YUM! I used canned tomatoes as others and added a bay leaf, celery and spinach. Otherwise, as written was perfect! Thank you so much for sharing!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
Wow! This chili a hit! I also made a few changes per the reviews. I only added 1/4 of the jalapenos and omitted the cayenne. It still had a good kick. Would probably use all the jalapenos if my family wasn’t so spicey sensitive... I also added a can of corn for another layer of texture. I brought left over’s to work and my "chef" coworker loved it! Just one more successful recipe from!

Easy Pleasy Mac N Cheesy - US Navy Style

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
I made this last night and WOW! I've gone through 5+ mac n cheese recipes trying to find one my family will love and BINGO! This is it! Thank you so much! I like that it has a whole different base than the usual flour butter rue. Those always seemed to go dry and almost grainy in the oven, and I love the ritz/butter topping too! I added a little dry mustard for kick and it was perfect! This is defiantly going in my file! Thanks again :)

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2010
The "gravy" was almost foamy! Ive checked out this recipe a million times wanting to try it and finally got around to it... I took advice from one review and added a little red wine and worshershire sauce... Maybe I did something wrong because it was barley eatable. Thank god we didnt have my step kids that night. Anyway not to knock the recipe or website because there are so many delish recipes I use all the time but this one just did not do it for me. Will not make again per the request of my husband and myself! I'll try a simple au jus next time.

Amish Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2010
Best meatloaf recipe out there! Of course like others I made my own changes. Was told by a coworker/chef that meatloaf is made up with equal parts beef/veal/sausage, so I did that. Omitted the bacon and tweaked the ketchup glaze a little with extra mustard and vinegar for more kick! But I will say this was the best meatloaf I’ve ever had by far! And my coworker/chef agrees!
