French Spring Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
LOVED this soup! So did everyone else who tried it. I did only use milk instead of cream. I also substituted the butter for some margarine and water. I added garlic, mushrooms and some chicken bouillon cubes. Will be making again. Thanks for the great recipe!

Royal Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
Amazing! I made this for my family, and they loved it! I was worried that the lemon would add a strong citrus flavor but it didn't - just barely a hint (perfect). I would use a little less than half of the crust mixture for the bottom of the pan instead of the 1/3 the recipe calls for. I let the cheesecake cool in the oven after I turned it off. Definitely try this recipe if you're looking for a fantastic cheesecake!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2010
I made a "healthier" version of these cookies by using fewer chocolate chips and substituting apple sauce for 1/2 of the oil and whole wheat flour for 1/2 of the flour. I really liked them. They are really more cake-like than your average cookie, but there's no butter in them so it's to be expected. They don't spread at all so be sure to flatten out the dough or you'll get mini scones:). I have to agree with another reviewer in saying that they are best fresh or cold - not sitting on the counter. Enjoy!

Quinoa with Asian Flavors

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
This recipe was a delicious and very healthy alternative to rice. I used reduced sodium chicken broth, and it turned out great!
