Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
This was incredible! Followed other reviews: sliced the meat and put it back into the broth. Keeps it moist and juicy. Was so easy. Assembled it the night before in the crockpot, kept it in the frig, then in the morning put the pot on the base and turned it on. Couldn't have been easier early in the morning.

Apple Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
This was excellent! Easy to make and delicious. Yummo! The pork came out tender and juicy. My only changes were: I seasoned the pork before I browned it in the pan, I used dried parsley instead of fresh, and I didn't use the wine. This is a keeper!

Green Grog

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
Pretty tasty. :) Served at a Halloween. Left the alcohol out so the kids could have some. The adults just added rum & vodka to their taste. Would recommend serving over ice, to keep it chilled and to water it down a little bit. The citrus flavor is pretty strong. I also added some green food coloring for effect. Made in 1/4 recipe batches

Firecracker Bites

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2010
These were wonderful. Kids and adults alike loved them at our 4th of July party. Large Ziploc bags with the corner cut off kept the filling mess to a minimum. Only change was the topping. I added blue food coloring to the cool whip, used red sprinkles (left over from Christmas), and didn't do the licorice. Wonderful, simple, and a hit!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
This was wonderful!! I didn't do it slow cooker style, but rather on the stove top in a pot. Still great! I did add some diced celery and carrots. And used chicken broth like suggested. I cut up the raw chicken into bite sized bits to make sure it all was cooked evenly. A keeper!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Great recipe - I do mine a little differently ... I mix the cream cheese with the taco seasoning for the first layer, then re-fried beans, guacamole, sour cream, chopped lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped tomatoes, sliced olives, diced jalapenos, and green onions. OK so maybe that is more than 7 layers. Disappears so fast!

Shrimp and Tasso Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
Really liked this! Used a package of diced ham instead of Tasso and added a couple of drops of liquid smoke. Hubby loved it and left overs were great too/

Not very exciting. Hubby ate it but really didn't care for it. Won't go in the rotation.

Sour Cream Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2009
This was the best Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas I have found! Small changes. 8 chicken tenders, seasoned with salt, pepper, onion salt and garlic powder. Shredded after cooking. Returned to pan with a can of rotel and warmed through. I didn't put the cheese inside. The rest was just the same. Soooo Yummy!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
Super Good! I cook it in a deeper, smaller dish so that all the fish filets are touching. This makes seems to make more sauce, guess it doesn't cook off this way. So yummy!

Pizza On The Grill I

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2009
This was incredible! My husband raved over it and loved that he got to do the grilling part ;) Would be fun for dinner guests to be able to top their own pizzas. Give yourself plenty of time to make the dough, was well worth the effort. Even picky 3yo ate 2 pieces!

Vegetable Lo Mein

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
Excellent! Hubby and I gobbled it up! I didn't have any curry powder so that got left out. Also didn't add the honey. Used jarred ginger. Doubled the sauce cause we like it saucey! Bought fresh, cut up, mixed veggies from produce area. And added 1.5 lbs of shrimp at the end. Yum!
