My Mom's Swiss Steak

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

This salad was SO good! It even made enough for me to eat for lunch the next day. I scooped out my tomatoes and cucumbers so it wouldn't get too soggy. I didn't, however, use the dressing in this salad. I used a Greek dressing recipe from this site. I think this dressing would still be great.

Chicken Satay

I give the chicken 5 stars and the dipping sauce 2 stars for a combined score of 5! The sauce wasn't horrible, but I just couldn't get over the fact that I was eating peanut butter with my chicken! The chicken, however, was delightful. It tasted just as good, cold, the next day. Will definitely make this again, and try to find a different dipping sauce.

South Beach Chopped Salad with Tuna

Maybe I'm just not that much of a tuna fan, but I found this recipe to just be "OK" It was difficult to save any leftovers, since the tuna made it too runny. I will have it again because it's so easy to make, but I think I'll just use vinegar and oil instead of making the dressing.

Baby Spinach Salad with Tomato and Mozzarella

Yummy, yummy, yummy! I had to use dried herbs as I didn't have fresh, but the recipe still turned out great. Even my husband, who dislikes spinach, loved this salad. Will definitely be making it again.

Beef Burger Pie with Cheese Puff

This was a great recipe for me and my family. I replaced the carrots with corn, but other than that, left the recipe alone. It was quick, inexpensive, and easy. It will definitely make it's way to my table again.

Easy Tuna Casserole

This was a very good recipe. My 15-month old enjoyed the noodles, and my husband and I enjoyed it overall. Very easy. I modified the recipe by 1) using egg noodles, 2) adding green beans, 3) using sauteed onions instead of dried, 4) increased the amount of tuna. I will definitely make this dish again.

Angel Chicken Pasta

I thought this was a pretty good recipe. I didn't think it was too salty, but if you're going to double the sauce recipe, use 1 1/2 packets (.6) of italian dressing. I also browned the chicken in seasoned flour and baked, uncovered, at 330 degrees for 35 minutes. The chicken was so tender that you didn't even need a knife!

Cilantro Cucumber Salad

This salad was fantastic! I added some hothouse tomatoes, used a little less pepper than was called for, and the recipe was perfect! Easy, quick, and tasty...I will definately be making this salad again and again and again.

Allie's Delicious Macaroni and Cheese

While I found this recipe tough (not being too much of a "cooker"), the result was worth the messy kitchen and the time spent. This mac and cheese rivals that of my grandmother, and my husband said it was the best he'd ever had! Will definately be making it again. (For those of you who have problems with measurements, like me, I used 3 cups of milk, which appeared to be perfect!)

Creamy Cucumber Dressing

I did seed the cucumber, which appears to have eliminated the "runny" problem that another person described. All in all, I enjoyed this dressing very much. It's a great, lite summer dressing.
