Slow Cooker Thai Peanut Pork

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2014
Always looking for quick and easy crock pot recipes my husband and son will enjoy - and this is one of them! Easy to prep the night before, doesn't require alot of unusual ingredients, fast to get going before I leave for work, and we all loved it. Would like to try to use leftovers in fried rice recipe, but there aren't any. Authentic Thai or not, who cares? Love the peanuty taste - Winner!

Easy Asian Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 12, 2014
Very tasty! Served with Salmon to my mother for Mother's Day - a real hit! Used whole wheat Udon noodles and a squeeze of lime juice for brightness and she took the leftovers. Will make many more times! Great!

Anna's Amazing Easy Pleasy Meatballs over Buttered Noodles

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2013
Amazingly good. I served as a snack without the noodles. They were scraping the crockpot to get the last morsels.

Ali's Greek Tortellini Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2013
Excellent! My husband doesn't care for tortellini, but I do and always look for ways to sneak it in. He loved it! I think I'll throw in some olives when I make it tonight. It's wonderful!!!!!

Slow Cooker Adobo Chicken with Bok Choy

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2013
YUM! Only change I made, based on some reviews, was to reduce vinegar to 1/2 cup and add 1/2 cup chicken broth. My husband doesn't like too much vinegar flavor but he said that it was just right. I LOVE vinegar flavor and I could barely detect it. Served over rice. Ate leftovers over rice and added dollop of sour cream and hot sauce 2 days running. Will make again - husband wants to try it with regular cabbage rather than bok choy, but he's a cabbage nut! Thanks!

Happy Shrimp

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2012
Excellent! Big hit at our house. I used about 1/2 can of fire roasted tomatoes instead of romas, other than that, followed receipe to the letter. Served over angel hair. Will be in regular rotation at our house.

YUM!!! These were a big hit with us. First time I followed recipe exactly, second time we blended minced garlic into the cream cheese. Great for game day snack - I made them earlier in the day then popped them into oven. Excellent!

Mimi's Zucchini Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2012
WOW! What a great dish! Followed recipe exactly. Only thing I'd change is cook maybe 5-10 mins longer. Might add mushrooms next time. So pretty my husband took a picture when it came out of the oven, and he even left 1/2 his chicken uneaten in order to have a large second helping. I'm eating a slice for breakfast. Prep only took about 10 minutes - Fast, Easy, Healthy and Delicious. Will be a regular at our house. thanks for the recipe!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2012
This was a big hit for my family! I added portabello mushrooms towards the last few hours. I sprinkled red pepper flakes over mine, as I like a little bit of a kick. I was thinking about adding some roasted red peppers next time. Highly recommended!!!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2012
Very tasty - and easy. Followed recipe as written. Only thing I will do different is slice garlic rather than adding whole cloves, and use fresh chicken breasts rather than the frozen I had on hand. Served over whole wheat orzo - loved it with the sauce. Will make again!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
Simple and fast, this dinner comes together with minimum fuss. Husband loved it and we both took leftovers for lunch next day. Make exactly as written, next time I may increase the sauce measurements to have more to spoon over the pasta. YUM!

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
Very tasty, served with Wheat Thins. I used a loaf pan and baked it and would recommend using a larger pan, as the parm. cheese was pretty thick after adding it all. Can't imagine if you used a bowl.

Creamed Cabbage

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2012
Made as side dish for Christmas and was a big, big hit. Added touch more sour cream to empty out the container, then once assembled I put into oven at 350 for about 30 minutes because I thought it might be better that way plus I needed to keep it warm. My husband finished off leftovers that night and was looking for more. Will become a staple in our house. EXCELLENT!!!

Rach's Broccoli Casserole

Made this as side dish for Christmas, and was well received. I did reduce egg to 1 and increased cheese by 1/2 cup and added some extra crushed crackers mixed into the casserole. Will make again.

Chicken and Gnocchi Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
I tried this because I love the chicken and gnocchi soup at Olive Garden and this sounded close. Loved it! Couldn't find mini gnocchi so used full sized ones. Mini's would have been better, but couldn't fault the recipe for that! I did use fat free 1/2 and 1/2. Froze leftovers, but got it back out of the freezer the very next week for some work lunches. Excellent!
