One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2013
This recipe is super easy to make and it is very delicious. The cake turned out very moist and soft. I will not be using a cake mix ever again... the first time I made it, we eat it hot with ice cream and my family loved it. I was a little worried because I could taste the baking soda in it but the next day the taste was gone. Thanks Shirley for the recipe!!!

Chewy Caramel

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2012
These caramels were a huge success. However, I made two changes: 1) as suggested by other reviewers, I increased the cooking temperature to about 250F. 2) I sprinkled some sea salt on top of the caramel. Very easy recipe and the outcome is simply divine! Soft and chewy caramel! Thanks HARSHMA for the recipe!

Lazy Daisy Cake

Reviewed: May 6, 2012
Delicious cake!!! I didn't find it overly sweet as the frosting was very thin. I did find it a little oily. Next time I will reduce the butter a little. Thanks for the recipe!

Master Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
Delicious! Very easy and soft! I double the dough and I saved 2 pre-cooked pizzas in the the freezer. I didn't have RapidRise yeast and found the footnote on how to use the Active Dry yeast confusing... So I just proofed my yeast with the warm water then I added the rest of the ingredients. I used my mixer to make the dough.

Bagels II

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
I never thought that making bagels was going to be that "simple". I followed the recipe except that I baked my bagels at 375-400F. My oven runs a little hotter than supposed to and I was afraid of burning the bagels. My family loved the bagels. Thanks for the recipe!

Sour Cream Pound Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2011
I made this cake last night and we all loved it! Very MOIST! Absolutely delicious... I follow the recipe but made some adjustments as suggested by some reviewers: I added 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and I separated the egg yolk from the whites and folded the beat egg whites into the dough at the end.

Kolachky

Very easy to make and exceptional taste! I will never have to buy this cookie again! Even my husband that doesn't care for sweets loved these cookies. I used raspberry jam and melted chocolate as the filling... I want to try the walnut filling next... Thanks for the recipe!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
The bread is delicious and relatively easy to make. However, next time I will put less flour so my bread can come out a little softer... Well, I did add a little extra flour to get the dough easier to handle but I think that is what I did wrong... According to my friend (a pro in homemade bread) if the dough is a little sticky the bread is going to be softer... Thanks Donna for the recipe! i will definitely make it again...

Rocky Road Ice Cream

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
Best texture and very easy to make! So much that I adapted this recipe to make vanilla ice cream - substituting the cocoa powder for vanilla bean and 1tbs of vanilla extract.... Delicious!!! the only problem with the vanilla flavor made using this technique is that it was a little to sweet for my taste... Next time I will decrease the condensed milk... Excellent texture!!! Thanks for the recipe!

The cookies were very easy to make and they tasted delicious!!! The only thing I did different was to use Vanilla extract instead of brandy as I didn't have it at home.

Coconut Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
I have made this recipe twice already. It is absolutely delicious! I cannot find cream of coconut in any of the local supermarkets in my area so I have use coconut milk instead. I also substituted the milk for half and half and added 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk. The only problem I found with this recipe is that the ice cream is not very soft so I need to leave it at room temperature for a while before serving it... But it is way worth the flavor! If anybody has been successful at making this ice cream creamy please let me know.... Thanks and enjoy this great recipe!!!
