I have been making this regularly forever now and just realized I haven't reviewed the recipe! It is a standby favourite! I omit the parsley and double the cayenne. As others have suggested, I double the spice mixture, more is better! Instead of garlic powder, I use fresh near the end (1-2 cloves) and add a couple splashes of tequila (at the same time as the lime juice). I also skip the butter all together. As I usually only make one serving at a time, I end up using a whole lime for the juice. I serve it with garlic mashed potatoes. That seems to help offset some of the heat. I love, love, love this recipe! And whenever I make it for others, they rave as well! Satisfying all around! This recipe has been fondly renamed "Tequila Chicken"! Thank you C. Perez!
