Pineapple Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2007
Yum!! My daughter has been asking to make ice cream, which I haven't done in years and since pineapple is my favorite hard to find flavor I thought I'd give this recipe a try. Excellent as is, but I think next time I will puree some of the pineapple first for more pineapple flavor. I am also going to try peach in place of the pineapple.

Special Cereal Bars I

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2005
I haven't had these in probably 15 years. My aunt used to make them, but I never had the recipe. For one batch I substituted the peanut butter chips with butterscotch chips because that is how she used to make them.

Easier Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2005
I wish I knew Marsala could be this easy years ago. One of my husbands favorite resturant treats is now a regular dinner at home. I chose this recipe over the others because it called for less fats. Turns out great every time and we've used a variety of different meats.

Cinnamon Snack Mix

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2005
I made this for a party at my daughters day care so I changed things a little. I omitted the almonds and ramen noodles, but added other cereals. Turned out great!! Almost had to make another batch since we couldn't keep our hands off it.

Beef Bourguignon II

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2005
Very easy recipe with fabulous gourmet results. I added some whole carrots on top during baking which added to the final presentation. The family loved it and I can’t wait to serve this for a dinner party.

Bran Flax Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2005
Excellent! I only substituted applesauce for the oil; otherwise I made them exactly like the recipe. My picky husband and 2-year-old daughter love them. Definitely a keeper, only next time I think I’ll experiment with the ingredients a bit. Update- I've since experimented with the recipe. Don't!! They are fantastic the way they are and everything I've tried has made them worse.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2004
It is funny to see a recipe for grilled cheese, but I really like to read everyones customizations, so here is mine... Mozzerella with a little leftover spaghetti sauce. Mmmm. Like a little piece of pizza heaven.

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2001
This is a beautiful holiday cookie. The green and red colors are very festive. Not to mention it's very tasty. I had salted pistachios, so I left out the salt and they came out great.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2001
I'm not a fan of raisins, so I just left them out. This is a great basic oatmeal cookie recipe. I'll be making it again soon.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2001
Bravo!! I love a good mild cheesy macaroni. This was all of those things. I made it twice in one week. The second time I added some crushed crackers on top for added crunch.

Colossal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2001
Colossal is an understatement. My first batch was the size of dinner plates. I think I went a little overboard with the batter. Everyone at work loved them still.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2001
I've always been a fan of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, but have never been able to make great ones. These were the best. The almond oil gives the cookie a lot of flavor. This will be one of my standards.

Russian Tea Cakes I

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2001
This was my first attempt at Russian Tea Cakes. They were very easy, plus they turned out so good I made a second batch right away. Everyone at work raved about them.
