My favourite styles are mainly Mediterranean, but love trying new things as well. I'm currently saving to live in France for a while.

My mom taught me to cook and bake when I was really little; I used to follow her around like a shadow, so she would give me little jobs to do to help out.

My cooking tragedies
When I was 9, I decided to make Macaroons for my mom for Mother's Day. I followed the recipe to the best of my ability, but didn't understand the "Beat the egg whites to stiff peaks" part. Needless to say, I only stirred the egg whites with the coconut. They were runny, soggy, and made a horrible mess in the bottom of the oven, but she still ate them to spare my feelings. "It's the thought that counts!"
