About this Cook
We are Ashley and Jen, partners in life and a cooking team from Alabama. We cook mainly for close friends and family and personal enjoyment.
My cooking triumphs
We've come a long way in the cooking world over the past year! Our latest creations have been a self created recipe for stuffed bella's over spinach zucchini, poblano and red pepper chicken tortilla's, and stuffed chicken with cream sauce. All the while, we've lost a total of 50 lbs!
My cooking tragedies
Never guess with lemon juice unless you're really sure of yourself. We attempted a lemon shrimp pasta dish that was so tart our eyes watered!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips
This recipe is so delicious! Anytime there is a holiday or family gathering I always love to make this. It always makes plenty to go around and the cinnamon chips are fantastic with it.

Cranberry Hootycreeks
I made these this weekend and I think I've found a new favorite cookie! I substituted half of the white chocolate chips with regular chocolate chips. I also used brown sugar coated pecans. These are delicious and I plan to make more soon because they go fast! Also, these are a GREAT gift idea. Both our mothers really enjoyed them, too.

Hawaiian Chicken Kabobs
Our Grill was not working when we attempted this dish, so we put them in a dish, covered them in foil and put them in the oven. They turned out great! I made extra marinade to drizzle over the kabobs on a bed of rice before serving and this really made the meal. Very easy to do and highly recommended!
