Mini Bison Meat loafs

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2014
I actually made this using Bison Meat. Something that is leaner with almost no fat. It was delicious!! I made a double recipe for just my wife and I thinking I was going to have some for my lunches for the week to follow, I was wrong. It all went that evening

Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes With Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2013
I loved the simpleness of the cupcake. And the flavor? ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! After taking a cake decorating class, I used my newly found talents and used the icing to create my own designs. Maybe for easter I will use the same recipe, frost the cupcake using a light green frosting and place some malted milk ball eggs on top, creating a nest. Thank-you for a most wonderful batter!!

Easy Slow Cooker Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2013
Well....... I tried this recipe but instead of using 1/4 pound of Velveeta cheese I added 1 full pound. I cooked it in the slow cooker, then I dumped the entire thing in 2 separate batches in a blender. Went from whip to liquify and made a good cheesy soup from it. The older people that were going to be eating it probably would have had a bad time with the seeds in the squash. They ALL loved it, certainly a keeper for a nice soup before the main course beef roast. Makes the roast rest a while, while they eat their soup. THANKS!!

Roasted Corn and Heirloom Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2012
I made this very colorful salad as one of my side dishes for the Baby Back Ribs I made in the oven I built from Mother Earth News. (Oven, grill, smoker, stove). It was a hit with the people, and I wish I had quadrupled the recipe, as I had doubled the recipe as None was left. I added more chopped red onions due to their sweet and interesting flavor. I also added some sauteed shrimp that was cut in half. Great recipe
