By purchasing the hamburgers in the box, and by grilling them you can keep the burgers juicy for hours after you grill them.  Purchase one of those big aluminum pans with high sides, place 1/2 of the pan with plain water, set on grill to heat it up and while you are done grilling the burgers… MORE

About this Cook
I am the type of Guy who loves to have people over for dinner. I Love to clean the house for my lovely wife, and cook for our guests using different recipes ALL the time (unless they specifically ask for the same thing I cooked for them last time, which happens all the time) from allrecipes.com
My favorite things to cook
Fall off the bones Baby Back ribs. Probably the easiest things I like to cook, and I mean EASY, and FALL off the bones too!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother and father always had us kids cook and bake for the family. We took turns (from what was in the house, and things we caught in the fields) cooking and baking for the family. I simply love my Mother in law as she was the one who inspired me to cook and bake when I was married to her prettiest daughter.
My cooking triumphs
One of my triumphs is having a understanding and loving wife whom I love ever so Dearly. Having some wonderful neighbors who have introduced me to their herb garden.
My cooking tragedies
Follow everything as it is written. Make sure you take the recipe to the Grocery store or write it on the list when you visit there will take away any and ALL headaches when making the recipe.

Candied Bacon
What surprised everyone was the bacon which I froze and stood up in a water glass. EVERYONE loved it!! I just wish I had made more. They were gone in 5 minutes

Easy Slow Cooker Squash
Well....... I tried this recipe but instead of using 1/4 pound of Velveeta cheese I added 1 full pound. I cooked it in the slow cooker, then I dumped the entire thing in 2 separate batches in a blender. Went from whip to liquify and made a good cheesy soup from it. The older people that were going to be eating it probably would have had a bad time with the seeds in the squash. They ALL loved it, certainly a keeper for a nice soup before the main course beef roast. Makes the roast rest a while, while they eat their soup. THANKS!!

Roasted Corn and Heirloom Tomato Salad
I made this very colorful salad as one of my side dishes for the Baby Back Ribs I made in the oven I built from Mother Earth News. (Oven, grill, smoker, stove). It was a hit with the people, and I wish I had quadrupled the recipe, as I had doubled the recipe as None was left. I added more chopped red onions due to their sweet and interesting flavor. I also added some sauteed shrimp that was cut in half. Great recipe
