Buttertart Squares

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
Very good! Grease the pan with butter generously before baking and they will not sick. Even easier to get out of pan if you use a pyrex dish.

Spiced Cutouts

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2005
This is one of the best gingerbread recipes I've ever tried. The mix of spices is perfect and the dough was so easy to manage. In order to keep it from getting mushy, don't soften the butter too much and it won't need to be chilled at all.

Super-Easy Rocky Road Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2005
Really easy and good. Used half milk choc.chips and half semi-sweet. Also used peanuts instead of walnuts. Good advice to wait for chocolate to cool before mixing in marshmallows. Used 2 cups marshmallows as well, 3 cups is too much.

Cookies 'n' Creme Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2005
Totally awesome fudge. Just a tip for first-timers, make sure to slightly crush cookies by hand. If ground too much, the fudge will turn into a gross grey colour and taste gritty. Overall, extremely easy.

Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: May 3, 2004
I made this frosting for a carrot cake, so I made a few changes. Omitted the lemon juice and rind, used light cream cheese and only 2 cups of conf. sugar. A very good frosting though

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2004
These were awesome. I used 1 cup of unsalted butter, natural peanut butter and fine sea salt instead of regular salt. Added chocolate chips to half of the batter, turned out great. Be careful baking though, mine were done in 10 min.

Fantastic Black Bean Chili

This recipe was excellent. I added a can of tomato soup and taco seasoning. I also drained the beans. Overall, very delicious and using the ground turkey makes it a lot leaner.

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2003
What a horrible waste of ingredients and time!! The toothpick came out clean and when I tried to remove the cake from the pan, it crumbled all over the place, like it wasn't fully cooked. Definitely not worth the fuss!!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2002
This fudge tastes just like professionally made fudge. The trick is to heat the marshmellow cream slowly. I started at low heat and increased to medium as it warmed. You constantly have to stir it too (don't stop for a second). If you follow this, the fudge will set and your pot will come out sparkling clean! Also can add less butter as it was oily in areas.

The icing was really good in this recipe. I added a little cream though. Should be cooked longer than 30 minutes though.

Hi all, I'm glad you like my recipe. I didn't add garlic to the recipe and maybe some are wondering why... I'm terribly sensitive to garlic and I cannot eat it unfortunately. But please feel free to add it to your batch! -ali

This recipe was okay, not a big fan of spicy food so I ommitted the hot sauce, used red pepper flakes instead. I would recommend more thyme and basil to the recipe.

This recipe is amazing!! It is sooo easy and quick. I think I made it in 15 minutes. These bars taste just like Crispy Crunch chocolate bars (I'm from Canada). If you need to bake something really fast, these are perfect and you will be praised as a baking goddess!!
