Key West Penne

Made this for my family. Even my grandparents loved it. I didn't use the artichoke and I used whole plum tomatoes and they ate the whole pot.

Mexican Rice

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
Made this rice for my very picky mother who enjoyed it. I found that the amount of salt added was a bit too much. I think i'll reduce it to 1 teaspoon next time and I think if you add some ground beef to this it would make it even better. I also did not get to use the saffron in here but I would make it again.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2010
Three stars because I do understand that this only has 3 ingredients but that cooking time of 8 minutes is ridiculous. I made 8 cookies and they were still completely gooey at 8 minutes. Ended up leaving it in there for about 32 minutes which was too long, so I'm definitely willing to give this another shot and leave it in for about 25 mins while adding vanilla like everyone suggested. I also used organic peanut butter but next time I'll try skippy or something of that sort.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
If you cook this long enough it really is a good recipe. I put more cinnamon than asked for and also put in the seasonings before the milk. I'd make it again. Thanks for the great recipe. P.S. it did come out fluffy.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

The sesame oil made it taste restaurant styled. Overall good recipe. Next time I may add more salt and soy sauce just for more taste. Thanks for the recipe.

OMG I loved this recipe. It was sweet, creamy, and you could definitely taste the peanut butter without it being overpowering. Thanks so much.

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
i used a graham cracker base and while this was good it was very sweet. I think next time i'll use less sugar and a different topping, but i've never made cheesecake before so thanks for the recipe. I definitely will be making it again.

Great taste but I think the black paper was a bit much. Maybe a little less next time but thanks for the recipe.

I loved the cake. I omitted walnuts because I didn't have any on hand. I use craisins and the frosting was great. A make again dessert. This cake lasted less than a week in my house.

Flank Steak Barbecue

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
I used round tip beef and baked it in the oven because it's february and I'm not going outside lol. It smelled incredible while baking. I baked it for 45 minutes which I think was a bit too much so I'd suggest 30. Great marinade and definitely a make again. I won't put a star rating because I definitely tweaked what I did, but as far as the marinade goes that's a 4 star.

Japanese Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
So I skipped the first step of frying the wings. I prepared the sauce as stated and put the chicken to marinate in it in the fridge for an hour and a half. I then baked the chicken for an hour and a half. Smelled and looked good while cooking. I didn't use a whole cup of sugar but more like a half cup. The chicken wasn't too sweet but the sauce only stayed on the skin and didn't get to the meat. I would make it again and let it marinate longer. I served it with mashed potatoes, stir fry vegetables and biscuits. Was a great meal.
