Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2012
Loved it! Finally found a meatloaf recipe that works. I took the advice of some of the others. I used cheddar crackers and I used Heinz chili sauce. I also made the glaze for the top. My husband and my 9 year old son had 2 helpings.

Pork Tenderloin with Pineapple Salsa

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2012
Love this recipe! My 9 year old son loved it, also. Hubby told me I knocked it out of the park. I put it on the grill. Made the salsa to go with it. It's good, but next time I think I will just grill up some pineapple instead of the salsa.

Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 17, 2012
Loved this recipe. I didn't use bread crumbs. I used dry bread. I also cooked the onion and celery in butter until they were soft. I added salt and poultry seasoning. I soaked the apples in some apple cider and then poured the whole thing in when I mixed it together. I also added some chicken broth. I took the advice from someone else and baked it covered for 20 min. and uncovered for 20. It was perfect.

Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
Great tasting pulled pork. I made the vinegar sauce (from allrecipe) to go with it. I felt it needed a little something. The pork with the sauce is amazing! I have been looking for a basic pulled pork recipe and this fits the bill perfectly. Both kids love it. I will make this again.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2011
So good. My kids loved it! Normally my daughter won't eat chicken like this. I had to share the breast with her. Am making again soon.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2011
DELICIOUS!!! I have never made turkey burgers before. This was so good. I liked it much better than regular hamburgers. I used 2 T. mayo instead of egg whites. I didn't use bread crumbs or parsley. I added some worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Will make again and again.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
I make one very similar to this and am asked to bring it to all get togethers. The only difference is: I use my George Foreman and grill chicken breasts. (I don't like the taste of canned chicken.) I then mince it really fine. Instead of adding pepper sauce I add medium Buffalo Wild Wing sauce. Other than that, it's the same. It is so good.

Butter Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
My whole family loved it!! Including my very picky 12 year old daughter. She went to the fridge to grab BBQ sauce (which is a staple for her and chicken). Her dad looks at her and tells her to try it first before putting anything on it. She loved it. She ate a leg, a wing and most of her dad's chicken breast. This will become a staple for chicken in our house.

McCormick® Gingerbread Men Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
Loved these cookies. My husband said they were the best gingerbread cookies I have ever made. He seems to think the ones I have made in the past are "too gingery" and these are perfect. I only made one small change and that was: a pinch of cloves instead of the nutmeg. I personally do not like nutmeg so I don't use it. These are very tasty and cook up nicely for decorating.

Cabbage Beef Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
I've been making a soup similar to this for years. The only differences that I have are: I use turkey smoked sausage instead of hamburger, tomato paste instead of tomato sauce, 3 T. vinegar, and no cumin. It is so good on a cold day. I serve it with corn bread.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2010
Love it! Love it! Love it! My husband, who likes nothing with shredded chicken, loved this soup. I only tweaked this recipe a bit for our taste. I didn't use any water. I used 3 cans chicken broth. I used diced jalapenos instead of green chili peppers. This first time I made it, I used the whole 4 oz. can. Too hot even for me. Cut back just a little. I threw in a can of black beans drained and rinsed. Used petite diced tomatoes. Next time I make it, I am going to add some cooked rice at the end. Will make again and again. Probably one of my favorite soups.

Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
Best bread ever!! I changed just a couple of things. I used 1 cup brown sugar and 2 cups white sugar. I added 1 t. vanilla. I used 1 t. pumpkin pie spice instead of the cloves and nutmeg. I don't like nutmeg. I then used 2 t. cinnamon. When I greased my bread pans, I sprinkled cinnamon, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice on the sides and bottom. Baked about 55 minutes. If I could give it more stars I would.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
My whole family loved these sandwiches. My daughter, who is very very picky, ate one and said it was the best thing she has eaten. I did make a couple of changes. I took the roast and shook garlic, onion salt, celery salt, and oregano on it. I then baked it at 475 for 45 minutes. Took it out of the oven and let it cool. I then sliced it very thin with an electric knife. I followed the directions for the "juice". I let it cool slightly and then combined the meat and the "juice" in a bowl. Covered it and put it in the fridge overnight. Took it out and heated on low for about 4-5 hours until it was hot. Served on hoagie rolls with extra dipping juice. Loved it!!
