Weeknight Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
What an unexpectedly delicious recipe! I tried this more out of curiosity than anything else, and because my husband loves strawberry jam. I baked as others recommended, and also used dijon mustard. I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did, but it is now one of my favorite ways to eat porkchops! Note - this may go without saying, but if you do not like sweet toppings on meat, you may not like this recipe (or you definitely would want to increase the mustard to jam ratio).

Maple Salmon

This was amazing! I just moved to New England, so I was able to use genuine Vermont maple syrup, and it was delicious, easy, and fast! Great recipe!

Paprika Chicken with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
Great recipe! I may have only given it four stars, but my husband raved about it so much that I have to give 5. A little time-intensive, but worth the result!

Raspberry Tilapia

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
This is now one of my absolute favorite recipes. For the people who said it was too sweet - one suggestion would be to increase the mustard to vinegarette ratio. Overall, a VERY easy recipe with ingredients I always have in the kitchen, and it's so quick to prepare! Thanks for posting this!

Quick Savory Cranberry Glazed Pork Loin Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
This was delicious! I am not big on pork tenderloin, but this was such an easy glaze to prepare, and the meat came out so juicy. I will definitely make this again.

Merritt's Butternut Squash Gratin

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
I am a huge fan of butternut squash, and this was delicious. I substituted panko bread crumbs, and used mixed Italian cheeses. I would note that using a shallower, bigger dish will result in a better "topping to squash" ratio. The first time I made this, I made it in a smaller, deeper dish, and I felt that I didn't have enough topping in proportion to the squash. But still delicious and not too difficult to make!

Orange Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
This has great potential for a delicious blend of flavors, but I agree it is a bit bland as is. I even squeezed several orange slices over the salmon before baking to try to increase the flavor. Next time I will try an orange juice-red wine marinade with some nutmeg sprinkled in, before baking according to this recipe. Still a great mix of flavors, if you can get them into the salmon more! Also, an extremely easy, extremely fast dinner - that's what I like!

Baked Salmon

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
I followed this recipe exactly, and I thought the flavor was terrible. I couldn't even eat the vegetables; I just pushed them aside and tried to make do with the salmon, which was edible but barely. Maybe it's just my tastebuds, but I ordinarily love salmon and all of the ingredients in this recipe; it was just the combination that was terrible.
