Paige's Feta Slaw

This is now my favorite slaw. Yum! Came back to get the recipe again for supper. Used shredded green cabbage and carrots the first time (guessed on the amounts), and apple cider vinegar. Thanks so much for the recipe!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

We had 15 people to dinner on Thanksgiving and everyone (including those who didn't particularly like stuffing)loved this recipe. I used pork sausage, a big red onion and left out the turkey liver. The combination of white and dark bread cubes and red berries made a pretty combination and it smelled and tasted delicious.

Apple and Brown Rice Salad

I had the ingredients but not exactly the right amounts, but threw it together anyway and it was yummy! I added an extra chopped-up pear and used chopped almonds. Mmm; great salad.

Jenny's Sweet Waldorf Salad

I was trying to use up some pears, so I put in plenty of those and skipped the apples. I didn't have dried cranberries so used some dried mixed fruit pieces and also chopped almonds. There was so much liquid in this salad that I had to add a good cup of leftover rice to it and some more raisins just to have something in it that people could chew on. It was like eating soup. But my family LOVED this salad and I will definitely make it again.

Apple Crisp IV

I couldn't find my apple crisp recipe, so I used this. I didn't peel the apples; just cored them and put them through the Cuisinart slicer. Baked at 375 to speed it up, so from start to finish it probably took around 50 minutes. The crisp smelled good and the kids liked it, but it tasted a little bland. If I made it again I would add more nutmeg and maybe more sugar.
