About this Cook
I love to cook. I love to eat. I love to try new recipes and use my husband as my guinea pig. He's Polish and I'm Porteguese/Irish. I've learned to cook some of the dishes he grew up on which makes him happy and happiness is through a man's stomach! I'm always looking for something new to try or come up with something on my own. I come from a family of women who cooked and weren't afraid to try something new and different. I thank my grandmother and my mom for giving me recipes from members of my family and encouraging me to cook and gave me the reins at a young age to cook my very own Thanksgiving dinner, that's where it all started. Thanks Gramma and MOM, love you both.
My favorite things to cook
Asian, Italian, mexican, Polish (to see my husband smile), I wish I was better at desserts but I do have a few candy recipes that I make around the holidays that turn out pretty good!

Hearty Vegetable Lasagna
This was the bomb!! I didn't miss the meat AT ALL. Made my own sauce, crushed tomatoes in a can, olive oil, lots of garlic, an onion, 8oz of mushrooms, 2 zuchini, 2 small carrots, some spinach in the ricotta and mozerella cheese mixture and bam!! it was awesome, thanks so much. I added some spices to my liking.....It was so good. Will make this again, I don't mind not having the meat in it at all.

Foolproof Rib Roast
I was skeptical/nervous at first due to leaving the roast in the oven for 3 hours when the oven is off. BUT I have to tell you, that was the best piece of Prime Rib I have EVER had. It was better than most of the prime rib I have ordered in restaurants. Will now not cook Prime Rib any other way. Was Perfect!! Thank you for sharing
